If you can have deep love for yourself with respect then all that you are can be revealed to you. The fact in the matter many of us may never find a true purpose in our lives. Me I think I was put here just to help people remember what they are. I see man as another creative force in this universe.
Life is a process. What I know today is miles apart from what I knew as much younger adult. Depending on an individual’s evolution will determine the answer they give you. You will tend to accept that answers the best fit your current state of education, experiences, and past indoctrination. The sad fact is only few of us ever gain freethinking without the weight of mass influence.
The problem with youth how do your know the difference between good advice or mediocre or down right bad advice? I learned along time ago you couldn’t give that what you don't possess. Put another way my parents were not rich people so they were not the best source of information for gaining wealth. As they say never trust a naked tailor.
I learned a long time ago powerful information is esoteric. Only a few see clearly in to the reality of man's existence. I will tell you this purpose is choice. You become what you think about. You get the life your deserve. Whatever you want to be you will be in the end.
Remember all thoughts are creative and you have total control over your thoughts. Think your way into whatever existence you want. Fear of any type is a mind killer.

Wow' T-Rex, you are not that old are you? and you have already learned this. you have the ability of as i call insight don't you?
I will not ask any more here. but we should talk sometime, I can tell you a lot, as you can me.
I hope you read what I, just wrote to you. anyway i need to answer this question now.
The best way to find your true purpose is to think of what it is you have always wanted to do. dreamed about or even wished to do. and make you choice. but take your time in doing this, there is no rush. take a day or two, just to think about this. sleep on it.
when you do decide, go for it, I do not mean just try, but do it. put your mind on it set it as your target, and never stop until you get there.

The true purpose of all mankind is to be on the side of truth or in simple terms I mean good. All religious scriptures of the world share at least this common view.
I advise u to be on the side of good and teach others to do good. Since by default good is God's side so we have to follow that and believe in it.
This is the true purpose of life no matter what faith u follow because n faith teaches u to be bad or a sinner to be more precise.

I really believe everything happens for a reason. So then I also believe if you lead a good life put faith in God and believe he died for our sins.( by the way having blind faith and being saved was a hard thing for me to get, and the way I got it was......lets say your anywhere, and you can at anytime drop to your knees and tell the Lord how much you love and need him in your life.....being able to drop to your knees anywhere at anytime and not being embarrassed is key.) I wondered!!! sorry.....Okay....back to the point.....I swear if you do these things , everything falls into place, your job, your life, health, you name it , it happens. And what is the biggest shame of all there will be a lot of people who will never try this......What do any of us have to loose. Remember being a Christian doesn't mean you have to be sinless, it means you will be forgiven. So finding your true purpose has already been decided for you, Now its up to you to find it, by being the person that is in your heart. Try it.....you wouldn't be asking what your purpose is, if what you are doing now is working for you....Now would you!

You find your purpose from the activities which give you maximum satisfaction and peace.Quran says. mankind cannot find peace but from rembering God.This simple sentence has vast scope extending up to the limits of individual understanding. If you believe someone created you with purpose then He must have attached some expectations, at least to excell in your facuties and capabilities. Now you have to discover, what is required of you?
I am sure if you turn to Him for guidance, you will get it it by any medium.

I do a lot of journaling. Each entry starts off, "Dear God, " and I tell Him about whatever is on my mind. I tell Him of my wrongdoings, and I thank Him for the many people He has put in my life.
I read a book a few years ago called "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren, and it really gave me a lot of direction. I am also reading another very helpful book called "Discover your God-given gifts" by a husband and wife with the last name Fortune. It has showed me several areas where my strengths and interests lie.
Good luck, and blessings!

Whatever you find yourself doing out of pure love and genuineness, that is your calling. If you seek the things of the Kingdom first, everything else is added. When you find the grace and strength and courage to do what is right and pure and true and good moment to moment, you will know God and your real self and be fulfilling your purpose.

God has a purpose and a plan for every man. If we will surrender our lives to Him, we will be guided and directed in the way we ought to go. John 10:10 "The thief purpose is to steal, kill and destroy; but God's purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."

You were created by God for His good pleasure. That means that God created you and He has a plan for your life. Since He's the maker, He has the right to say.
What He says is written in the Bible in a couple of places.
Old Testament prophet Micah (6:8)
Tells you what the Lord requires of you and Jesus told us how to sum up the entire Old Testament Law in two commandments found in Matt. 22:35-37. Of course we can't do that in and of ourselves. God helps us. (John 3;16-18)
Once you recognize God in your life, (John 1:12) He gives you a job...2Corinthians 5;17-20. That job is your purpose.
