maybe atheists are not atheists but are agnostics who can't stand people who think they know for sure that a god exist when it is perfectly self evident that believers believe but do NOT KNOW.

in case you ask somebody what's their faith many will say it truly is by using fact of custom or they do no longer truly have self belief.. If God replaced into basically one, then why in this international there are such incredibly some gods. yet we are alll living on comparable planet and dying is composed of each physique. the main extreme subject to appreciate related to the soul, the place we come from and the place we are going after this existence.. Genesis 2:7 God created guy from dirt of floor(physique), the breath of existence (spirit/soul) and guy became a living being.. the only that is living is our soul no longer physique. What happens while guy die? Ecclesiastes 12:7 Our physique returns to the floor it got here from and our soul returns to God who gave it. Returns mean bypass lower back to a former place. So if our soul existed with God interior the start, the place we initially from? 2 examples to let us know that our spirits already existed with God in heaven in the previous the creation of the international. interest 38:a million-4,21. Proverbs 8:22-31. Why are we here in this earth destined to die? What sin did we dedicate that we've been solid down from heaven to this earth? Romans 6:23 Wages of sin is dying.

I'm not sure I even understand what you are saying. Feeling the need to question what? Religion? Well, if it's religion you mean, well it's only logical for people to discuss things. I mean some people don't like George Bush or want him as president, but they still discuss him right? It's a topic of interest, something that is quite pervasive in our society and thus something that most everyone talks about to some extent. You don't believe that a pink and purple unicorn built the Washington Monument, but if millions of people did, you might question it on occasion, right?

For a group that claims to just be looking to savor the one life they have they sure do waste a lot of time defending themselves and harassing Christians. Just look at your average message board or website like this. There are proportionately more atheists haunting such places than there are atheists in the population. I seldom meet them in real life, but you can't swing a URL without hitting one on the Internet.
I know the popular answer is that they either just get kicks out of harassing Christians (how arrogant), or they are just trying to defend their rights against the oppressive, intolerant Christians. But have you looked at society in the past century? It's increasingly secular! Atheists are not on the defensive, they are on the offensive. I'd be more sympathetic if they were just objectively engaging Christians in the marketplace of ideas, but I see more personal and ad hominem attacks than anything else.

Not exactly a well thought out statement.
Atheist live in a theistic culture and most grew up in a theistic household.
My daughters both an atheist and takes a fair amount of courses in religion and philosophy.
Your statement is like saying white people can have no interest in black history, straight people should have no interest in understanding gay/lesbian culture, and that because we are americans, we shouldn't take an interest in cultures outside the borders of our nice little country.
It's an incredibly myopic point of view you have.

I have come to the conclusion that most of the atheist (not all) are here for one reason and one reason only. That is to find someone else here who agrees with them and validates their beliefs.
This comes from observing Q&A and the answers chosen by some people as best answers. Nine times out of ten they choose the answer of a person who agrees with them. It's not only atheist that do it. Most here do that.
This isn't a discussion forum. It's questions and answers.

I don't question my Atheism, i try to bleed sense into the minds of the ignorant. I have never questioned my atheism. Let's go by your logic, as i love to do.

Wrong. If you are truly a Christian, why do you feel the need to talk about Atheism? Same reason. It's interesting.

We're not questioning anything, we're holding up a mirror to the believers to show them the absurdity of religion.

Oh be quite assured, I'm not questioning the existence of God. It's the sanity and moral wisdom of believers that I'm concerned about.
