Yes - the Bible predicts the future. Here are some verses to read.
Daniel 9:27, Isaiah 61:1-2, Luke 4:16-22
Matthew 24:15 Isaiah 28:14-22, Ezekiel 38,39, Jeremiah 50, 51, Isaiah 47, Zechariah 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and of course Revelation
We are living in the last days and we are the last generation. Here are some reasons why Christians say this.
1. Israel became nation in 1948
2. Jerusalem captured by Israel 1967
3. Israel is always in the middle of a peace and security agreement which is always broken.
4. EU formed in 1993
5. We are on the edge of the 7th millenium
6. Our generation is largest, greatly increased knowledge due to computer and most traveled generation in history.
7. Israel on brink of world changing conflict
8. Temple Mt. in Jerusalem is center of world media attention
9. European Prince whose name numbers 666 is implementing his agenda.
10. There are 2 kinds of saints - tribulation and apostate
You have the Damascus group coming against Israel now which is fulfilling Bible prophecy.

The book of Revelations is a book that does tell the future. What version of the bible are you using? KJV is not the best to try and understand some passages. Try The Message version of the Bible or if your a serious student get a Thompson Chain Reference Bible. Also it might help you find a study course on Revelations. You can't take that book by its self. The book of Daniel also come into play when studying this book

The book of Revelation is a prediction of what the future holds for mankind but yes, it is very hard to understand. There have been many interpretations of those words and I can't begin to tell you exactly what everything means. All you can do is take the basics from it. Bad times will come. People will have to chose either God or Satan. In the end, Satan will lose. God will judge all. Christ will reign here on earth for a period of at least one thousand years.

Yes the Bible can tell the future. Yes, the Bible does tell the future. The book of Revelation is a book of symbols. The symbols mean something. There is no literal seven-headed beast, for example. But that beast symbolizes something else.
Your question is overly broad and this forum will not permit an exhaustive response.

The Holy Bible is the only religious book that contains prophecy. The percentages vary - depending on the source - but many, many of them have been fulfilled.
Revelation is but one book. The book of Daniel and the book of Ezekiel are full of prophecy, as are other books.
You are asking a complicated question for which there is no short answer. If you want to understand, you should pray, read, pray, read, etc, etc. The more you study the more you will comprehend.

There are prophecies about the antichrist in 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 John and Revelation, and probably in Daniel (but haven't read it for a while).
However, that fellow is going to give the most seemingly wonderful religion people can imagine, so most people won't know who he is.
* people can follow their natural inclinations
* all religions lead to God
* the antichrist will be presented as the Messiah
* there will be marvellous (but contrived) signs and miracles
Then Christ will come again, on the clouds "with great power and glory".

Naw...my experience is about the same as yours and I have tried many times. I know some people think they know what it all means...I think its just a written down version of John's dream...some psychologist probably told him to write his dream down as soon as he woke up if he wanted to remember it...he did...and some guy decided it would be a grand joke to put it on the end of the Bible. I am a Christian by the way, lol...so what I believe is...what Jesus said...we will not know when he comes again as he will come as a theif in the night. Frankly, I find that more comforting than something with three horns coming after me in a dream.

The book of Revelation was written in signs.
The purpose was so nobody could get a handle on it until the appropriate time in history ....which is now.
However, if it was put together under God's direction, it can only be understood under God's direction.
As a clue:
The beasts represent political entities.
Babylon the Great is false religion.
The 2 witnesses are God's people.
Did I say 'Witnesses' .....hhmmmm, you might want to ask them.

When I was young in the 60s, my father told me that in d last days people would be frightened to go out after dark, people would be murdered in d streets and children would be out of control, you’d have to lock all the doors of d house all d time and man would destroy d environments they depend on. But God would help and reward those who he liked Mat 24. At d time I found it hard to believe but now?

Bible can tell all even the future but I don't think human eye can predict the future by reading the bible.
