Now please use some common sense here. Do you know what the well being of others means? If we are not infringing on the well being, as in hurting in ANY way, of others, than why should I have to adhere to your religious dogma?

I just go this answer to my last question:
"Too many people seem to want to be able to do what is wrong and not be called on it. To that end they hide behind the misunderstood idea that we are not to "judge others lest we be judged ourselves." All the while basing this on a totally misunderstood definition of the word "Judge" as used in the Bible."

You see, I could not care less if the bible say that I can't eat shrimp, or have sex with my boyfriend. You see that is my business. Joe and I are two consenting adults, yes I said CONSENTING ADULTS!

So why don't you people worry about your own morals and I will worry about mine.

Why should some holier than thou have the audacity to call any of us wrong?

Did God die and appoint you to take His place?

No one is appointed and no one can ever be. Jesus said, "Judge not." He also said, "let him who is without sin cast the first stone." No one is sinless. And who's religious dogma? If a Christian is judging you then their not behaving like a Christian at all. Remind this crooked Christian that he/she is supposed to be tolerant. Tolerance and temperance are virtues that we Christians should strive to attain. If this doesn't work then tell the crooked Christian what I said Jesus said and use the bible against this false Christian. And don't bash all Christians for what one Christian said. Some of us are on your side.

Gorgeous: I'm not married either but, I'm in a committed relationship too. My boyfriend and I are also consenting adults and we do "it" a lot. As a Christian I challenge all other Christians to give a bible quote that says "Love" is a sin. Sure it says "Adultery" is a sin but, no one is cheating on anyone. Therefore, adultery does NOT apply. Find where it says love is a sin. I can tell you that love transcends all things. 1 Corinthians 13. Gorgeous I am a Christian and I am with you. If anyone Christian or otherwise judges you then, let them judge me also!

P.S. King David had a haram full of wives and the one woman he truly loved, he never married. And King David was GOD'S CHOSEN! What do you false Christians have to say about that?

"If we are not infringing on the well being ... why should I have to adhere to your religious dogma?" - You obviously don't have to, but neither can you stop us pointing out the fact that what you are doing is wrong. Not by our standards, but by Gods.

"You see, I could not care less if the bible say that I can't eat shrimp, or have sex with my boyfriend. You see that is my business" - No, I'm sorry I don't see. God loves you more than your own boyfriend, whether you think so or not and He honestly does want the best for you. He's got something better for you than a man who is willing to compromise a woman from some sex; obviously your boyfriend doesn't think that highly of you or he'd have wanted to protect your virtue, even from himself :)

"So why don't you people worry about your own morals and I will worry about mine" - then why do you post your morals on a public forum in the form of a question? Isn't that like asking people to worry about it then being mad when they do?

My aunt deems herself to be qualified to judge. Of course she said I should not judge just her. I guess because she does the rosary everyday, watches that pirate nun mother Angelica, and watches mass all the time she feels she has earned that right. Like calling me a whore because of the way I dress and saying I was sinning against God. I don't think the Ten Commandments said anything about wardrobe.
I said pirate nun because supposedly Mother Angelica had a stroke a few years back. She had to wear a black eye patch for a while. So whenever I see her my husband and I always call her the pirate nun. Funny how fast she recovered too.

Honey, I am a christian, but I am not a judge. Being a christian doesn't make me any better than you. Why? Because I am a sinner, born into it. The only thing that saves me is the fact that Jesus shed his blood for me. I am saved only because he gave his life up for me. I have made many mistakes in my life. I have lived through many wrong decisions..Consequences. I am not your judge, neither is anyone else, who may think they are. I will stand in front of my judge one day. I can only say that I am grateful that my sins are forgiven and I have a loving father to speak with when I mess up from time to time. So, when you are confronted with a christian that bashes you, please remember, there are some of us that do know our place. That place is not above God. God Bless you and your life.

No, God didn't die and appoint anyone God. You can do anything you want. God didn't make you a puppet, He created you with a mind, a body and a soul. What you do with that is entirely up to you and some day when we all have to stand before that same God I want to know I've tried with all my heart to do what is right than to fall short with no time left to change my attitude or ways. If you can honestly stand before God and say you are right than go for it but if you have any doubts whatsoever, ask God to reveal it to you. Don't take anyone else's word just take God's.

My understanding of what the bible says about we, as Christians, judging others is that we are only qualified to "judge" other Christians. Which actually means to come alongside them and help them sort stuff out. NOT condemn them and treat them like crap.

We, Christians, are NOT in any way called to pass judgement on unbelievers.

In the end none of that matters anyway.
The commandment Jesus put second only to Love your God is Love your Neighbor. If we don't do that we are not doing the will of God. Period.

yes, I am a Christian.

So, why are you judging Christians? Do non-Christians get a pass and get to judge others at will? I see that kind of judging in spades when I browse through the questions and answers here.

BTW, I've seen consenting adults do some pretty awful things together. And simply saying "consenting" and "no harm" begs the question of what is harmful to oneself and society.

Judging means passing judgment which means saying that a person will go to "hell" or "heaven" based upon their actions. Saying your actions are wrong or sinful, is not judging. This is simply making a correct statement based upon your actions. If a person makes a claim on where your lot in the afterlife will be, is judging. Saying a person is lame, ugly, fat, wrong or sinful is not judging. This is nothing more than making observations. Some people are a bit to sensitive about their actions and therefore take offense to the comments of others fairly easily. It is usually when they have something to be ashamed of.....and you can take that to the bank!

You can do what you want... but just know that there are consequences for your actions. As simple as that

I'd never condemn anyone to hell, I dont have that right... but I will speak freely about the laws of Christ... it's your decision to take heed or not!

If you choose not to believe, so be it, and if you truly do not believe, then what people say about "salvation" should not matter to you, in the least bit!"

No human being has the right to judge another. ONLY GOD has that right. (I am a Christian) We are however supposed to speak out against those things that God has told us are sinful. It does not mean that we judge the person....only the sin. You are still loved.
