I don't see why not. I worry about things that actually matter (like if we have things to talk about and so on). It doesn't matter what he believes (it's part of him and I love it, but it doesn't actually effect truth).

Of course, but it depends largely on the type of Theist and the tolerance level of the Atheist. For example an Atheist and a Pagan would have a marvelous time together. On the other hand an Atheist and a christian would have a much tougher time. Relationships are hard enough without adding the stress of religious differences to them. You can't mix oil and water....though they can coexist....sometimes.

I don't see why the hell not just as long as the Theist doesn't try to push their beliefs on the Atheist and vice versa. As long as both parties have respect for one another then anything is possible.

I don't see why not, provided the theist does not try to push his/her ways on the atheist.

Why shouldn't an athiest date anyone whose company he enjoys?

Of course you CAN if you WANT to.
Who would prohibit or punish you?

Yourself?

That means that you do or did NOT want to date them BECAUSE their views annoy you.

Why would an athiest wish to change someone's beliefs?

If manifestations of the beliefs are repugnant to you, just take exception to the manifestations and avoid being around them.

What one actually believes personally is of no consequence to a nonexistent soul, no?

Thus, if you insist upon them changing their views, it is to enhance your own comfort, not theirs.

Maybe there are more specific, less philosophical issues (manifestations, perhaps) that are bothering you.

So long as the theist isn't constantly trying to convince the atheist that they're right (AND VICE VERSA), I don't see why not.

I doubt it would work out for long. They would see things two entirely different ways and constantly disagree which would eventually lead to arguements and such. This is why the bible says to try to remain equally yoked, so things are just easier in general in the relationships in question. There will always be disagreement, but if you both believe the same thing, they will be fewer and less damaging.

Sure. As long as they aren't trying to convert you and asking you to change.

I've had more problems with other theists than I have had with atheists. Hmm I wonder why?
