That's what Heaven is supposed to be, so apparently it's possible according to Christians. Why don't we have it now, then? Heaven is supposed to be the ultimate existence and it has no evil. If it's because there is no free will, then why do we have it on earth when it's not good enough for Heaven? If it's because people just choose not to do evil, then why can't God make earth that way?

If I told you what good and evil was would you understand it? Could you even grasp it out side of the popular construct of God and Satan? Without dichotomies you cannot grasps conceptual ideologies. How can you understand good or evil without knowing both?
Good and evil are ideologies. When you are in spirit form you have no concept of these things. You come to this earth to learn in a physical form what cannot be understood in a spirit form. On planet earth good is that which increases survival for all mankind. Evil is that which brings about lessening survival even death. Evil is ruining the environment. Evil is convincing a man he is less than what he is capable of achieving. Evil is over population. Evil is killing for a God over another. Rather you want to accept it or not man is self-determine. There will be not special person to come and save our butts when it all goes bad. It is going bad because a great many people believe in concepts that this planet is understand the rule of some forces other than man’s own choices.
Through faulty education we all participate in evil acts. When you have hate for someone that is different from you it is in itself an evil act. You don't have to turn an individual different choice into a form of hate in you. If I don't like chocolate cake I don't have to hate the person who do because may your read it in a book that chocolate cake is bad. This is a simple analogy but I am sure you get the point.
The point is you don't have tear down what you do not like. Your dislike of something doesn't change its inherent value. If a person likes to wear a Mohawk doesn’t mean this person is any less that those that choose to be more mainstream. You don't have to hate gays because you can't stomach the idea of kissing a person of the same sex. This is of curse taught in the bible to kill Gays by the way. Get it???
Oh yea, all thoughts and intentions are creative. Ask yourself, what are your creating with your thoughts?

You are referring to human concepts, so no, you cannot. One must have a point of reference to define the two. You don't know what one is until you experience the other. For example, you were probably quite content in your mother's womb, but you didn't realize how good you had it until that doctor smacked you on the behind and you cried. It was only then that some part of you thought "that sucked, I wish I was back in the other warm place." Another example is hot. You don't know what hot is until you experience it. And then there is the other problem, good and evil are morality questions. You may believe one thing is evil, where your neighbor doesn't. I personally believe in neither good nor evil; I believe in opposing forces of positive and negative, though neither is preferable to the other. Positive, to me, is that which creates, and negative is that which destroys. You will find that from my viewpoint, almost nothing is positive or negative, but rather it is both occurring simultaneously.

It's a corny thought but have you ever seen anything that has been made with only one side? That is, can you think of anything created that only has a top, or a left side?
Good is nothing special without the contrast of evil. Good may be the front of existing things while evil is the back ...... or vise versa.
Even Heaven has it's other side ..... we call it Hell.
That's just one way to think of it. There are many others.

Good can ultimately only result from Evil and Evil can ultimately only result from Good. Without one, the other is not understood. I suppose Good could exists without Evil and visa versa but they would not be noticed. If everything is Good, then what is Good? Isn't good something better than the norm? If the norm is Good, then what would be Good? For this I believe the answer to your question is no.

No, it is impossible. Good and evil are perceptions, and without evil, there is no perception of good. For example, if there is no murder, no rape, no violence evil would not cease to exist. The definition would merely shift. Evil actions would now be talking too loudly, glaring at someone or taking someone else's parking space...
The mutual inclusivity of good and evil effectively precludes the existence of heaven as a result...

No, I believe that you cannot have one without the other. They exist in a symbient circle. The concept of Good, can only be justified by having Evil in comparison. If we had no dark which makes us blind, would we appreciate being able to see in light? Similarly, would we appreciate warmth if there was no cold? We could not, because we would have no comparison. The same as Courage cannot exist without Fear to stand up to, nor can Righteousness exist without a Badness to fight against.
'God' (or good forces) can only be appreciated in comparison to the Evil. It's like the concept of Yin and Yang, equal gravity and non-gravity, and life and death- one cannot be without the other and the other cannot be without the first. That's what I think anyway ^_^

Yes you can. Christians will try and tell you that you need evil in order to have free will, but it isn't so.
The fact is is that if God is all-powerful and all-good, it would have created a universe with no suffering and no evil. But, evil and suffering exist. Therefore God does not exist, is not all-powerful or is not benevolent. God, as all powerful, chose to create evil. God chose to create suffering, pain, misery... and it made it so that we could choose to accept these things and if we made bad choices these things could happen to us. It also made it more than possible for us to do evil and create suffering ourselves, it made it likely. But the existence of evil is not required for free will.Life being "unfair" is a symptom of pain or suffering, of inadequacy or feelings or even sinful emotions such as greed. God created these emotions, we do not choose to accept them, they are inherent in our nature. God could have created us so that we do not feel these emotions, that they simply don't exist. It would eliminate a lot of evil, and would not take away our free will.
According to Christianity, heaven is a place exists where there is free will, but no evil. This means that the evil and suffering which exists is not necessary for free will. This means that the free will theodicy is not valid. God could make the Earth and everywhere else the same as heaven, with the same free will, the same hope of meeting God in heaven, but without suffering or evil.

I'm sure you could Have Good without Evil... you just wouldn't understand that it was Good until you had something to compare it to.

The two entities do seem to exist separately in the world. Maybe Evil is just the absence of good in the way that darkness is just the absence of light. Short answer: I don't know, but I hope my answer was at least interesting. :o)

Good has existed without evil before. When God was alone, before He had created anything, there was only good. When He began creating angelic beings with minds of their own, evil began in the form of pride.
