Uncle Ben has the rice, love. Uncle Tom had a cabin.

I always like it with mushrooms, served with steak of roasted chicken.

Your fam might like it in soup thoug.

You can use it as a stuffing:

Folks don't usually complain much about casseroles with rice in them, so that might help. Also, cook your rice in chicken broth or pineapple juice to give it more flavor. You might consider adding some regular rice to the mix because they might not like the "earthy" texture that wild rice has. Some folks think its too chewy. Anyway, consider adding fresh herbs such as thyme, oregano, and basil and adding fresh parmesan and cream.

I try not to buy products that promote racist images... "Uncle Tom" is the racist stereotype of the submissive, house slave. He and Aunt Jemima are horribly offensive.
