Christians are strongly encouraged not to be "unequally yoked," in other words, to only marry and befriend believers. So in this case, I agree with you -- it's not the devil that may be getting between you both; instead, it may be the Holy Spirit seeking to show both of you just how fundamentally different you are.

Honestly I would say no. I'm neither christian or buddhist but pagan. I have been married almost 15 yrs, and guess what? We have disagreements. Part of being a couple is learning that we are each our own person, and what we have set in our mind as how things should be, are different than how the other person thinks things should be. Every couple struggles. I seriously doubt satan is out trying to split up individual couples! Gee he'd be a busy boy if he could manage that!

Well... I have to wonder how serious of a Christian he is since the Bible tells us not to be "unequally yoked" with unbelievers.
That said, I think the devil/demons try to divide people as much as possible, be it by race, nation, and especially on a familial level. So I wouldn't write the possibility off completely. Frankly, I think the enemy would be happier if your boyfriend ended up marrying you and not a Christian (assuming he really is one).

I am the boy friend... And yes the Bible teaches that we are to be equally yoked... For you to simply say that I am not a true christian is nothing less than being a christian snob ! The Bible teaches us , we are to seek out the sick (Unbeliving) Or did you miss church on this day! Try sticking to the facts of the question.
If my girl friend (G ) Freely excepts Jesus Christ as her personal savior... Then the devil has lost this battle... TRUE OR FALSE?
G didn`t you tell me, you can see God working in this relationship ???

I think he is shucking off your differences onto the devil.
I believe firmly that Satan is always trying to stir things up, but that he doesn't have power. He can't DO anything to us, he influences, suggests, tempts. Just like he did to Jesus in the desert. We decide, ultimately. Yes, he does enjoy it when we fight with each other. It's amusing to him.
Since you are a Buddhist and he is a Christian, it's natural that you will have different perceptions about certain things!

As a Christian I can say that it isn't normal for someone to blame the devil for something so minuscule. It sounds to me like your boyfriend is using the "devil myth" or "the devil made me do it" myth as crutch to keep from being responsible for his own actions. If he's going to be irresponsible then you should get a new and better boyfriend who is responsible.
P.S. Your boyfriend is not a normal Christian. Christians don't walk around saying, "the devil influenced this bad thing or action."

The devil's sole mission is to make the lives of Christians as miserable as possible. He has trillions upon trillions of demons to farm out to you and your boyfriend for trouble making and still have untold trillions left over for everybody else on earth and then some.

It may be heartening that he feels that it is evil incarnate that is trying to split you apart. However, if these disagreements have any solid basis, I suggest you calmly and rationally discuss this basis with your bf, without bringing in supernatural beings.
Supernatural beings are not the cause of your differences and will not be the resolution of your differences. You will need to bring him to that level of understanding if you are to overcome your differences.

The real point is to respect each other's beliefs. Personally, I'm fascinate with people I don't agree with across the board.
Some people are actually able to talk to people with different view-points without getting mad and they enjoy the variety life offers.
DIVERSITY IS A BLESSING.
