Every single one of us can have the Father guiding us. But you see, if you do what Jesus attempted, to make temples within every single person and to replace dogma with spirituality, that disrupts the establishment. No longer will the people pay someone to be their religious leader. Can you see John Hagee sticking around if the money tree dried up?

Speaking only for me, I want to say , "God I'm here for You, to experience You. I love You, and I know You love me", and be on my way. No dogma, no fear, and trying to live a life with honor and dignity.

The line you have to draw is kind of fuzzy. Christ was a fan of the Church, which is to help each other, build each other up, etc. But how far until it becomes a money grubbing preacher thing? I follow Dogma to a certain degree because I like the way Methodists worship, but I would never allow it as a substitute for my relationship with Christ, and my efforts to follow his teachings. However when politics get mixed in I run far far away.

Now this modifications the instructions, sure, however the message has constantly been an identical

To quote the bumper sticker: "My karma ran over my dogma" and it's true... I don't adhere to dogma but I believe that whatever works for others to teach them that which I'm always yapping about (like a yappy Yorkie), is what's best for them/you.
