My six year old is behind in school. She was never potty trained until a coulple of weeks ago. She has much difficulty with any kind of change or rule, as well as making friends. It is hard to put her in time out because she "times" herself out. She can be sweet in the morning, but if someone looks at her the wrong way, she will strike out. My docor will not listen, but the school is with me. Help!

6 Is kind of late for diagnosing autism. It's usually noticed way earlier on. but if her case is milder than maybe it was missed earlier. But what you can to is get testing for your daughter.
Get her to a psyciatrist. GP doctors are often not as good with mental health issues. If the phsyciatrist agrees with you and writes up a report on it/ has her get learning disability testing chaces are the doctor wil believe you.
Schools also offer verious types of Sped testing
You should ask about what your school system offers

Honey, you need to change doctors. She may or may not have autism, but something is wrong. You need a doctor who will listen and assist you if you need a specialist.

If for some reason (because of insurance issues) you don't have your choice of doctors, then call the insurance company and talk to them about a specialist.

You need help and your baby needs help. It may be a lot of work to get your child the help she needs but it will be worth it in the end.

Good luck to both of you.

Autism can be diagonosed as early as 3 year of age.
it is not late to diagnose her.
if your doctor is not supproting then change the doctor.
For autism there is no treatment but family and shcool has not accomodate for the child.
doctor can counsell how to treat the child but there is no absolute treatment for it.
If child gets violent then it is controlled by some medications.
Dont get down. there are so many people and organizations are willing to help the families in which there is autistic child.
Have a faith in god and change the doctor. I recommend psychiatrist.

The symptoms you're describing don't sound like autism, but something is definately going on. I would recommend finding a new doctor to voice your concerns to.
