Islaam move forward? where? to the naked woman loving, porno loving, hypocritical, oil loving, materialistic, so called democratic, west?

:)

Look, Islam is advanced on its own. How you can come around to seeing that is through looking at the two kinds of knowledge made obligatory for people in islaam:

1. the religious
2. the non religious sciences

at the end of the Golden Age of Islaam, the imaams had stopped preaching the importance of the second kind and taught people that religious knowledge was enough to put you into heaven. Which was wrong.

Which was around the time Europeans started to translate Arabic books of science and learn what is called, algebra, astronomy and medical sciences to begin coming out of the Dark Ages.

Any faith is stuck with what it believes is its revelation.

Christ's teaching is in its biblical form not at all controlling - faith is a matter of free choice. Mohammed has rules for controlling people externally. This has meant that Church hasn't got the authority in its own eyes, when it is honest to Christ's teachings, to hold things back.

But mohammedan religious elites do have substantial powers and rights to control others according to mohammed's teachings - so mohammedan countries have a harder time with technological and scientific progress than culturally christian countries

They also had to face the Mongols' invasion which was extremely destructive - we Europeans escaped due to luck or Providence. Possibly Islamic culture got a bit fatalistic after that.

Dark Ages? Would you mind telling me what do you mean by dark ages?? Well if muslims are living with their tradition of Hijabs , joint family system, avioding pork and Alcohal, respecting their women , limitation of relationship etc and this all comes in your defination of "dark Ages" so we are proud to be living in this kind of dark ages !
Sorry we don't need the "bright Ages" which makes a woman the society butterfly, illegal kids,Dirty politics of misguiding the world, killing the innocent for materalistic gain and telling "lies over Lies" and accusing others for the crimes which they are not responsible for ! And if you mean that they are not forward deveopment wise............here you are right and now its the flaws in the muslim community itself.....and one of my biggest regrets actualy! But see when a nation is soo much oppressed in a way that they are always under attack of army, media and other means...you can't expect them to behave normaly....they need some time to get out of it and but Alas they don't have any way to get rid of it !Well if they are allowed to live in peace, i m sure they would think of making some progress.......see the example of Malysia , they did make it !!

Islam didn't refuse to move forward...but actualy some anti-islamic powers do not want them to move !

Your question is flawed. Christianity hasn't moved out of the Dark Ages.

They're moving "forward" all the time. There's lots of discussion in Islam and people are always moving along, you need to get out and study Islam more... check out the mag "Islamica" and other Islamic sources... you'd be vastly surprised at how many people aren't stuck in the cultural pigeonhole you just stuck them all in.

What do you mean? They most certainly have moved forward. They crash planes into buildings killing thousands of people. They are trying to take over the country of Iraq. They have made it clear they want to destroy America and kill all Americans because "allah" told them to. Sounds pretty progressive to me.
