The game is calle "Christianity." The teams are "Christians." There are rules for this game as outlined in the rule book/play book .... the "Bible."

In order to play for a team one has to follow the rules as laid out in the rule book. If you don't follow the rules .... you don't play on the field. If you never play on the field .... you're not in the game.

Can you be a "Football player" if you're not part of the team? Are the people in the stands part of the team?

I see a few groups out there who do not play according to the rule book yet they still call themselves part of the team, part of the game. Is this possible?

this is one of the best questions I have heard in a long time. It is true that we should be a team- and that we need to follow the team leader.- and that is Jesus. Also one thing that I heard that really tells it like it is is this- "there is no "I" in team. I think sometimes we as Christians have our own ideas of what living the Christian life is, And we are only united with those who do it the way we think is best- Granted we have to follow the Bible - our rule book so that we are doing things that pleases God in "the game however working together is important. Thanks for the great reminder and God bless-

Yeah, the whole reason the team got together was to throw away rules, and so when the new team captains try to make up new rules, why do they expect the groups of people united in throwing away rules will suddenly want rules now?

Slave owners, murderers, rapists...all part of the team. Read your bible and see for yourself. I want no part of that team.
