I have heard some nasty things about non-stick coating so I am going to try to find a muffin tin that doesn't have it.

Please, don't try to convince me that non-stick coating is safe. I don't really care. I just want to try buying a muffin tin without it. Thanks in advance for your help!!

Use the disposable foil tins, or line the teflon ones with the cupcake papers.

Yes you can get aluminium, metal(tin) or stainless steel.
Of course stainless is the most expensive but outlasts all the others by a mile and is the best to cook with.
Any store like Walmart will carry all of these.

You can get aluminium ones and there are a new type of silicon that are supposed to be quite good in m/w and oven.
I just use paper cups in my Teflon one,
You can get single tin foil ones and a set of 4

Check the dollar & grocery store - I've seen them both places. The cheapies will not have non-stick coating, but will also not last as long.

i don't usually care if it is non-stick or not as I cook all muffins with the disposable paper muffin liners. no fuss, no muss. incidentally I do not have a non-stick pan. I usually just spary pan with pam or other cooking spray if I don't have paper liners.
