I'll be putting up a follow up question later this evening. You might want to read the question, critically, and then possibly edit your present stance. I've already got Pantheon, etc. locked in to base the question.

Many Gods and Goddesses are worshiped in this country, and Thank God we have the freedom to do so. I do think that many of these religions or philosophies are not given a fair chance and are ridiculed for being different. If being the same was what God wanted, why do we have different languages, different religions, different countries? Why do some finger-point at others? Isn't that one reason this country was founded? I myself, being of a minority religion, I am used to having fingers pointed at me, and whispers as I walk by, but I wear my religion proudly and do not care what others think. I am here only to impress My God.

The United States is a free nation. You are allowed to worship as you please as long as it doesn't interfer with the rights of others. Inotherwords, child sacrifices are not lawful, no matter what religion you adhere to.

As a government, it recognizes that those rights are given by God and can not be taken away. Its laws were based on the Judeo/ Christian faith but some of that has been whittled away, the consequences having hurt everyone.

The United States is a FREE Nation, we are not ruled by a bunch of different Gods, but our people are free to believe what and how they wish. Our laws are made up of our collective morality, some Religious in origin and some just Natural Law.

I would not want it any other way, you cannot force Religion of any sort on people.

Peace and God Bless!

The United States is a secular nation of people that are largely relgious. Just because some religious people don't know that doesn't make it not true.

USA is a Free nation of many immigrants from almost all parts of the world. They are all given the freedom to express their own faith. It does not make USA polytheist but it does allow individual to practice whatever faith seems fit to their lifestyle.

It is secular and should remain that way.

But yes, it's citizens do worship many different Gods and Goddesses and some don't worship any at all. It's all good.

Way to molest a term for humour, the US as a country has no one religion, because there is no federal Church. That does not make the country as a whole "polythiest", but it is supposed to mean that all religions are ok to be practiced here.

lol Terry, I know you better.. you've got something up your sleeve with this one.

The United States of America is a secular nation.. it is neither monotheistic nor polytheistic in it's government.

From I know, I would suppose Monotheistic. It still is God and Country, and In God we trust. Yes their is a freedom of religion act, but still, the foundation of America is Monotheism.

Monotheism: "Belief in ONE GOD."
