It helps, but it won't make it stop. Cucumbers, Grape Nuts, and if you're lactose intolerant, drink some milk. That will only take a few minutes.

I know what does, I don't know about Olive Oil.
1. You must increase your fiber gradually up to 25 grams a day.
2. For quick safe relief; Sit on floor, cross ankles, take opposite ankles in each hand, roll backwards touching toes to floor. Do this about 10 times if you can. The back gets rolled and the vertebra get pushed back into place enough that nerves in the back signal the body to eliminate. You should find relief in a few hours if you do it right. This exercise is part of a yoga workout.

Drink extra fluid, your bowels aren't getting enough moisture to help "soften" what needs to be moved through them. Oil isn't going to help, your body breaks it down before it gets to your bowels.
