I need some advice on 35 mm film scanners. So please, if you know any good, high quality, inexpensive scanners, please help.

High quality and cheap don't mix. But how's this - pick up a quality scanner on eBay, scan like crazy, and sell it again. Total cost: $0
A midpriced scanner, like the Nikon Coolscan 5000 goes for $1000 retail (visit Adorama, B&H, etc. for the specs and to compare models). This model produces excellent results in combination with either Nikon Scan or VueScan software.

OMG is right. You can't get quality for cheap. It all depends what you consider "cheap," though. I have a Nikon Coolscan V-ED that costs about $600 that it absolutely great. Is that cheap or not, though? That's up to you to decide.
