You can have want is called an "Hen Night" its all the women getting together on the night the guys will go out. You can play games, do crafts, talk, etc...
Ideas
- Games like who knows the most about the couple, when they met, how the met, first date details, birthdays, special moments, etc... Have the bride answer questions about the groom and his famliy (will take a little planning and help from the groom) and for every one she gets wrong chew a piece of gum and see how big the blob gets....
- Crafts like a quilt (if you're good at them) a recipe book or card holders, something the couple can have that would last or be useful to them starting their life together, an advice book on common problems that they will encounter of the years of marriage, put together a famliy tree, or something that will having meaning and about the blending of the families together
- have a prayer circle, asking for blessings and a happy marriage, have each lady pray for something they wish God will bless the happy couple with...
- Cook a special lunch or dinner, everyone doing something to get the meal out there, maybe even before the guys go out and have the meal together with them...

I think this is a great question
I am a christian and I am an entertainer that provides entertainment for hen parties. Perhaps you did not know that hen parties are becoming more and more sophisticated. Todays bride to be wants activities that they can share with their female friends. Less and less do these things include nudity and drunkenness. So this kind of hen party is very suitable for Christians.
? does not think that Christians should have bachelor parties, but surely it is the kind of avtivities that go on in many hen or stag parties that we want to avoid not the idea of all the males gathering to honour the groom before he gets married. Surely that is a very christian thing to do.
As for the so called traditional form of entertainment at stag and hen parties. The stripper does not actually work in these parties anyway.
Supposing that you do want to honour someone and show them how much they mean to you, then a stripper will not cut it anyway. More likely they will be humiliated by the performance, not even embaressed but humiliated. Perhaps booking the stripper will alienate some of your family and friends, especially the Christians who may want to stay away from your hen party and miss an important landmark in your life, just because you want tohave someone take off the clothes.
If you want to give them a big surprise, one that honours them, and shows them how much you love them, then why not have a song written all about them. I guess there are lots of funny stories about their laugh, family stories that get told over and over again. These are the kind of stories that would make a song about them really special. The song would be recorded on full band production audio CD and The Wandering Minstrel would arrive in full medieval minstrel costume to sing the song and present them with their special CD to keep forever.
For American readers, firstly a minstrel is in very different to an American minstrel no racial overtones here, and second is that you can order the CD only to be sent to America. You can even ask for a backing track, or chord sheets so that someone local could sing it for you. Perhaps someoneat the party is a good singer and would like to sing it.
The point about it is it is not the party itself that has moral questions aonly the activities that you actually undertake. Look the nudity stuff is nasty anyway, you don't need it, it is never a good idea.
But honouring your special friend in any way you do it is always a good idea.

How about golf, whitewater rafting, sailing or camping , or a concert for the guys. They can spend the day doing this type of activity then they could share a great meal together and have time to talk and bond and wish the groom well.
For the ladies I like the idea of a day at the spa or a grown up girls overnight party at a resort or someplace really special. You can share makeup tips, do each other's hair watch chick flicks ,and go on a special outing together like to a play or a concert. You can try to arrange for a hairstylist ,makeup artist or fashion consultant to lead the beauty sessions.
Be blessed in your quest to have a clean, Christian environment for your wedding. There is enough trash in the world, it's ime someone showed some class.

Take the opportunity to do something fun with your friends - go dancing somewhere that isn't too raunchy, see a movie, play games. If you like the idea of a road trip, go with that! I bet you have something in mind that you are interested in, so go for it. You could do an outdoor destination with parks, hiking, waterfalls, a barbecue, or maybe someplace with a nice downtown and good shopping. Or, I have a friend who recently attended a bachelorette party that had an "80's prom" theme. So you could do that type of thing as well. There are LOTS of ways to have fun without drunkenness and nude people!

I'm thinking about getting some girls together and going to the spa for my bachelorette party! Or maybe just having some good food and wine at home and hang out (we don't get the chance to get together that much anymore, so that would be a special night for me). Another friend of mine had a potluck and bonfire and that was lots of fun (have your friends bring their recipe as a gift instead of the typical trashy stuff people give). Another friend of mine had his bachelor party go paintballing (not a good idea too close to the wedding date...he had bruises from getting hit).

Bachelorette parties are a bit easier -- there are wedding theme word puzzles, crossword puzzles, etc. There's helping the bride make a stand-in bouquet out of gift bows for her rehearsal.
Bachelor parties aren't as easy. Try arranging a good venue, like renting a pool hall or laser tag arena or bowling alley. You can provide the snacks and beverages, and yet there is ready entertainment for the guys on hand.

Amusment parks, see a play, a comedy act, go listen to live music, go to a show, rent movies, make popcorn and have a party at home.
Depending on where you live, you could do a road trip - is there an Art show near by, a strawberry festival (or some other kind), a museum, a quaint town, with lots of good places to eat, shop, or be lazy by the pool or beach?

Someone already suggested this, but I think it's a great idea and might steal it myself someday: amusement park. You could have like a "let's be a kid again" day and go to a place like Six Flags or something like that. You could still do some of the traditional stuff like wear a "bride" t-shirt if you want something to be more "bachelorette" partyish, but the fun part would be just having fun with your friends and family, eating all of the junk food you want (be sure to get ice cream), and screaming yourself silly on the rides. Don't forget to take lots of pictures.
