Friend I studied Malcolm X ... I don't recall him trying to flee his "black brothers".

They probably feel he was a strong element in the movement of the Nation of Islam

and the nation of islam have nothing to do with islaam as well..lol

which he later found out..and got shot for.

To the answer no he wasn't he was just trying to get black people their rights, just in a different approach to people like martin luther king.

I don't hate Malcolm X and admire his courage and the evolution of his thought process. I believe that both he and Dr. King were eliminated by the US govt. when it seemed they could become leaders for all of the poor people in America. Peace be with you

He wasn't trying to flee his black brothers. His own black brothers are who killed him.

Malcom x died because he started off as a black supremisist but eventually became a true muslim, and his black comrades felt he had betrayed them and so shot him.

Honestly? There are people in the US who are very frightened by the prospect of a Black man who's not enslaved to liquor and drugs and other vices.

back when i was in high school in the early 90's, the black kids used malcom x to be racist against the white people, so maybe this is why white people were insulting him.
