Why? What possible reason would we draft only people from one race?

NO!!!, The fact that the number of blacks joining the military are down is a statistic. Singling out any group based on race, sex, creed, religion or any of the other useless categorizations that we label ourselves with would be discrimination. When will we as a nation quit putting everything in terms of what minority group we belong to and just all be Americans.

Since Blacks were over represented in the military as compared to the overall population I don't think you will see any race specific draft anytime soon. The laws of this nation will not allow discrimination based on race etc. Unless of course we are talking Affirmative actions then discrimination is allowed.

What the hell is the matter with you!!! They should draft your *** so you can go to Iraq. If the draft was run the way it was in the sixties then the lower and middle income people would be drafted while those with the money would escape by buying their way into colleges or the air national guard.

No, if the government tried to single out one race to go and be killed in some far off land, they would be riots,
Or possibly a military takeover, once all these people the government singled out to be killed for country, get their hands on the nice shiny guns and tanks, You think any government that silly would last long after that.

I dont know where you have been, but there IS no draft! Have to wait untill the Dumbocrats consolidate their conquests and put a draft in place. The draft is their idea in the first place.

Contrary to popular myth blacks are not overrepresented in the Armed forces and 80% of the casualties and war dead are in fact -White. So if white enlistment went down then there'd be a crisis.

What?! I know you are "just asking", but this is a ridiculous question. There is no way in hades this would happen. Are you serious? Come on! Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would make millions if the government did something like that. Heck, they are probably hoping something like that would happen. Anyway, this would not happen.

What? why would they do that? If the Military only recruited people of ethnic origin, and sent them to their deaths in wars that only served the higher powers. Then in my view, that's just as bad as a modern holocaust. If people want to serve their country, then it shouldn't really matter what the co lour of their skin is, its what's inside that counts.

No, they can't discriminate by race or ethnicity by drafting any particular type of person. A draft is color-blind.
