Id like it to be relaxing, but the brown on the comforter are somewhat subtle and the red curtains are REALLY red. I'd be more willing to part with the comforter than the curtains. The furniture isnt a factor because I'm going to repaint it to match once I choose a wall color. I'm open as to a theme. I'd like it to be relaxing. If its a little dramatic thats okay too. I'm awful with choosing wall color. Too indecisive. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I was always scared to pick paint colors because I didn,t know how it would look, too dark, wrong shade, etc. Try hgtv.com & check out their decorating shows, bhg.com has nice rooms also. Lowe's.com has a virtual painter, click on projects to find it & use it to paint sample rooms with hundreds of colors to find what will go with your stuff & the theme you want. Just paint 1 wall with your curtain color, 1 with your brown & the others with colors for the walls. No guesswork or worries. I did this with my whole house & it looks great.

It sounds a lot like the colors I have in my bedroom. I used Ralph Lauren suede finish paint in a "sand" color and the suede finish gives it a rich, luxurious look. It compliments the brown elements of the room while allowing the red to really "pop".

the color of choice for me is driftwood beige. It it more of a light coffee color. Depending on the curtains and everything...you may be able to pull off the curtains and comforter. Think about it.

I think a crisp khaki color would compliment the red and the brown. Hope this helps!

creamy beige, almost a buttery color, with a slight tint of yellow, should look really rich with the brown and red.
