It show a great deal of pride that you believe that you know more about what’s best for your brother than he does. Maybe you should pray that YOU will become more humble.

You can pray for him to be humbled, but be careful what you ask for. Being humbled by God is one of the hardest thing to have happen to you. Pride is not easily broken. I have seen a few people be humbled and it is not pretty.
It might be better to pray that he is convicted of his pride, but remeber that God works in His own way and not by human logic.

All you can do is pray. As for how, that depends on your faith. You are right that pride can only separate your brother from true worship of God. And most people need to be more humble. But you can only control yourself. And the fact that you are finding fault in your brother, indicates you need to try and work on yourself also. We can all use to pray more often. So pray for your brother, your self and me too. We all need to control our pride.

Ask the Holy Spirit to go into his heart and teach him that Christ is more important then himself. Also, set a good example of humility whenever you are around him. Show him what a good servant is. Encourage him to serve others. Discuss the matter with him, but do so from a non-offensive stance----DO NOT JUDGE HIM! If you happen upon an opportunity to serve as a volunteer, and it is allowed for you to bring others along with you, then encourage him to join you. The quickest way to break his proud heart is to confront him with the poor and needy.

Why worry about it? Life will humble him enough. Maybe he actually has something to be proud of. Besides, as his sister, you can always be much more direct about it. I like to remind my brother that I changed his diaper.

I'll pray for you to keep out of your brothers business. Just because YOU believe it is important to be humble it is equally important to let others be themselves.

You can pray about that, but remember what the Bible says: worry about that rafter in your own eye. You can't change anyone else...they have to do that themselves. But you can pray for God to help you to display the fruitage of the spirit. By doing this and setting a good example, then perhaps your brother will see his own faults.

You can pray for God's perfect will to be done in his life and for him to live in God blessings. Pray that God will continue to help him grow spiritually. Ask the Lord to help you to love your brother more and be able to understand him better.
Pride is often based in a real fear of being less than another person.

Pray for God to make you more humble......funny how it works but when God's taking care of your heart, He'll take care of you brother's too.
