I have a collection of various Hindu prayers which I've obtained from the Temple and online.

But I don't know the proper order of the prayers, or if there are some that are regularly said which I am missing from my collection.

Is there such a thing as a standard set of prayers said by Vaishnava Hindus? If so, where can I find them and how can I learn them?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Heron,

It is a difficult question. There are thousands of Slokas, Mantras, Prayers etc. which can not be enumerated here. Even the highly qualified Pundits does not recite or read all the above, as it is like an ocean.

What "krishna" has stated and the like - http://www.krishnamedia.org/files/vaishn... is of ISCKON. This prayer will be only for Krishna, that too in ISCKON Style.

If you mail me your exact requirement - is it for Vishnu or Krishna or Shiva etc., and send me by mail, I can find out and tell you. I have to consult some Vaishnavite Guru and reply. I will also try to get some Online sites for this.

But in my opinion you can chant or read Vishnu Sahasranama and some other slokas and it is enough. You can read Bhagawat Gita with meaning when ever you have time. -

I suggest trying google. Google is so great for things like that: just type in some key words like "Hindu prayers order" "Waishnava Hindu" and you'll probably find some really good sites.

Hope this helped!
