when I first saw this section I thought it would be a cool place for people to discuss what they believed. But I see nothing but anger and malcontemp from everyside. I think all you guys and gals should go find an island somewhere and go to war. and let the peaceful here have this section for what it was meant for. there are enough problems in the world. this is just flat out petty.

well I shall reply to some of your answers. I'm not angry but rather I would say disappointed. I've been studying religions around the past ten years. I don't know what I believe. Now this is my problem. just saying that means that the atheist call me illogical for believing there may be something else and christians and muslem say I'm going to hell. I watched this section probably 3 month now. I have to say there is very little disscusion and many flat out attacts.I had another profile but never bothered to make a comment here because of, well, basically you. I have a sleep problem that only lets me sleep a couple hours a day so I spent a lot of time on here.

Dude I totaly agree with you! If people wanna be hatin' they should just go on mesenger and debate "Their" issues.
I'm a Christian and I've been attacked just for saying what I believe in and that sucks that we come for help and they try to crucify us for believing what we do!

See the problem is ..Like Paul said where do wars come from? James 4 it comes from the lusts that are in the flesh...unfortunately...that's all men...are flesh wars against the things of God Read in Romans 6 I believe where Pauls says ..when i want to do good ...instead i do the wrong thing..(i'm para phrasing) but basically it is when we walk in the spirit that we don't fufill the lusts of the flesh...it can be done ..but never easy and not all walk in the spirit and furthermore...not all are saved...that pretty much creates the fuel for the fire...but that's fine because while the sinners come and create situations that helps us to learn how to deal with them in wisdom that God gives....Like the word says where sin abounds grace much more abounds...God bless

What you see as "people to discuss what they believe" is translated to everyone else as "discuss why YOUR beliefs are wrong." It's just the way the people here are. Everyone thinks that their way is the "only way" and anyone who doesn't follow their way is a sinner and will burn in Hell, and they think they can "save" everyone be trying to turn them one way or the other.
While I do honestly feel that Islam is the only true Way to Heaven, I don't attack others' beliefs, nor will I try to say something along the lines of "Come to Islam or Allah does not love you." I have learned enough respect for those of different faiths to not (intentionally) insult them.

There are questions here that are obviously meant to make others angry but I've seen questions that are informative. A lot of times, if a question is asked sarcastically with the obvious intent to insult others, there are still some good replies against the question. So, read the answer(s) instead of making assumptions based on very little knowledge. That's called being 'PREJUDICED'.

Jesus told us that the world would hate us because it hated Him first. He also promised us that our lives would be filled with conflict caused by Satan and his children (unbelievers). What you see here is an affirmation that Jesus knew what He was talking about. Don't let it affect you; if you are a Christian, claim the blessing Jesus gave you at Matthew 5:10-12.
Stick around for awhile; I've seen some very good debate here from all sides.

and who's angry now ? You do know that more people have killed in the name of religion than by/for any other reason. This is a cool place for people to discuss what they believe, sorry if it's not what you believe. Maybe you should try opening your mind, or would that be malcontent. Oh, please tell us what you think this section is meant for.

Actually, it is good to hear from the angry as well as the peaceful. It is a true reflection of how mankind reacts to religion and spirituality.
When there are angry questions and responses you have the choice to ignore them. I prefer to try and address them, so that I can have a better understanding of where these people are coming from. I have learned allot from angry people, they are a good representation of the world as a whole.

You need to sift out the chaff to get to the wheat. There are occasionally some people honestly looking for answers.
I agree that this is not the best place to find them though.

It is, you just have to look past trolls and those who like to argue. I think people take others opinions way to seriously, coming to a board with so many different opinions this should be expected
