Right again,
God is all powerful, but when it comes to saving confused people he is powerless and must burn them for eternity because of free will.
They will then say that free will is an act of Love. How is damning someone who cannot grasp faith to pain and torture forever, Loving?
NUTS......

I just figured out the point you are missing. It wasn't until I was reading the question on punishing your children that it clicked for me.
God loves us the way a father would if he were perfect and placed no conditions on that love.
When you truely love your child you want them to grow up being the best person they can be, and part of that is knowing when and how to punish them.
I absolve God of punishing me because I not only needed the gentle correction, but also because it helped me grow to be a much better person. He did it out of love for me, and I not only respect that, I thank Him for that.

The punishment for sin is built into the sin. That is why God leads you away from sin.
Example: Don't commit adultery -- it will destroy the trust in your marriage. If you commit that sin the punishment is built into it. God doesn't want you to sin because he loves you and doesn't want you to suffer. If you have free will so does your partner. God gave it to us all and is not going to change the will of your partner to force them to forgive you.
If you sin then you are responsible. God didn't lead you to it or tempt you with it. Therefore, God has nothing to do with sin

We do not have to absolve God of anything concerning how or why sin is punsihed,
And No, we do not act like God is not in charge of the sin punishment process and it is not IF He runs the show, there is no IF He DOES run the show wether you choose to believe or accept it or not, your refusal to accept or believe it does not matter and is like dust and wasted words.
Sin is the breaking of God's law. If God says "Do not lie" and you lie, then you have broken His law and sinned. When you sin, you offend God because it is His law that you have broken. Also, the reason God says to not lie, not cheat, etc., is because these laws reflect the moral purity of His nature. Therefore, the Law is a reflection of the character of God. It is wrong to lie because God cannot lie. It is wrong to steal because God cannot steal, etc. The moral law is not arbitrary. It is based on God's holiness.
The law, then, is a standard of moral purity. The Old Testament contains the Law of God. It is a perfect standard because it is God's standard. When we fail to keep the law, we sin. When we sin, we offend God. This offense against God results in a judgment. Laws are laws because they have penalties. There is no law without a penalty. Therefore, breaking God's law brings judgment which is separation from God. "But your sins have made a separation between you and your God," (Isaiah 59:2). And, "the wages of sin is death..." (Rom. 6:23). So, to sin, to break God's law, results in judgment. The judgment is known as damnation which is the righteous judgment of God upon the sinner. If God did not judge the sinner, then He is not upholding His holiness and he would be allowing sinners to go unpunished.
Of course, Jesus came to take our place and die for our sins (1 Pet. 2:24). This means that Jesus bore our sin in His body on the cross and paid for them. He took the judgment upon himself. This further means that anyone who trusts in what Jesus did on the cross will have his sins removed; he will be saved from God's future judgment.
So, replying to the question "What is sin?" is best answered by saying that it is breaking God's law. All people have sinned. Therefore, all people are under God's judgment -- except for those who've trusted in God's provision to escape that judgment.

Well its all part of the belief systems,,if you go along with it,,you follows the guidelines,,just like anything else.IF your beliefs says you will be punished ,,,you then believe you will be, Like a Father guiding their children,,,if you choose to do wrong you get punished, its all just part of the belief. The father has the responsibility to discipline and love the children,,children cant run there own lives.Till the are taught and mature,,,but don't get me wrong God gave me a brain ..i use it ,,I'm not a sheep or a puppet,
,If you don't follow it or believe don't worry about it.

God in fact IS responsible for how sin is punished and FORGIVEN, for that matter. Read in Genesis about the covenant made with Abraham for sin and you'll begin to understand.

Actually He can't change any of it at any time. That would go against what God has already stated in His Word, which can't be changed, nor can God go against His own nature, which is fully loving, fully merciful, and fully just. As for sin, He has already judged it-2000 years ago.

Why would it be God's fault? What he does is just like a father would do.Like telling a child not to play with hammer.God tells us if we continue with a behavior. There will be a problem.Lets take some thing simple, sex. If a person continues you could get stuff that will harm you,or kill you.It is our choice to do or not to do.It would be bad father that wouldn't warn us.An a very good father that gives us a free ticket home.

The sins of the world were carried by Jesus Christ when He suffered and gave His life on the cross.
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit." 1Peter 3: 18
Believe this on your own behalf.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved".

Running the show, yes. Considering that His standards are perfect, though, He would never violate them for His own convenience. It's like the ultimate perfectionist I suppose. Self-discipline @ its finest...
