I think the first answer is correct. But all the women would not be correct, the women that follow them would be more accurate. Women tend to enjoy being in the arms of the strongest or most admired.

Well, the use of "all" in the sentence makes it easy to refute. Pastors certainly do not get ALL; none of them do.

But it is true that some women have a special fascination for ministers and other spiritually advanced (or perceived to be advanced) men. In Wicca, that's perfectly appropriate and encouraged. In most other religions, it is a problem, as much due to monogamy as anything else.

Women are generally more spiritual about their sexual attraction than men. Certainly a man who is generally pretty well respected as kind and understanding, etc., is attractive for that reason alone. Add being physically attractive, and perhaps more available (privacy easier to obtain, etc.), and the odds go up and up.

Women are also attracted to men of power and authority, and that comes into play if the church is that sort of church.

My advice to women who feel this way is to find the appropriate seminarian and marry him before someone else gets him, but be prepared to share him. In the alternative, become a witch and have a go at the High Priest of the coven!
