My husband joined LA weight loss and has lost 40 pounds so far. It is working well for him! Since you have to weigh in three times a week, it encourages you to stay on track. They provide very detailed written material that is individually designed for you and very explicit as to what you can and can't have to eat. They encourage and teach healthy eating with proper foods based on the food pyramid. My husband has been very pleased with the program and, I am sure, will attain his goal. The important thing is it is all mapped out for you so you don't have to count calories. You do have to weigh somethings (meat portions for example) but they provide the proper scale.
