Some do, some do not, I just answered with this a second ago:
There are Christians who believe in the literal 6 day creation model as told in Genesis and do not believe the theory of Evolution; they are called Young Earth Creationists.
There are Christians who believe in the creation model but think that a "day" as described in Genesis can mean several thousand years and they are not sure if Evolution is the tool that God used or not. They are called Old Earth Creationists.
And lastly there are Christians who believe that Genesis should be liberally translated and that perhaps God used Evolution as a tool to bring about humanity. This is called Theistic Evolution.

Drewb, try reading Darwin's book. He never said we evolved from monkeys; he said we have a common ancestor. And for the record, evolution is a theory, not a fact. I'm atheist, and I know the difference between the two.

As an evangelic Christian, I consider evolution a possibility, but I also recognize the fact that God created everything. It's said that one day to us is as 1000 years to God. So, it's quite possible that God's Creation actually took longer than a mere 6 days. However, I don't want to say one way or the other. The one thing I know is, God created it. I personally don't care how long it took.

Growing happened long before the theory of evolution came on the scene. God created us to grow. We change with the environment and always have.

Evolution will be a fact of life when it can be successfully be reproduced over and over again with the same results every time, like every scientific research test should be, in order for it to be accepted.

Do you realize that your science has a law that everything must have a begining so how did nothing evolve into something. That is the question that nobody will ever know the answer and also that question invented god.

I've never seen anything evolve....all I see is animals going extinct. Like the apes that looked like humans, they died out. Nothing lives long enough.

I, as a Christian, believe in both Creationism and Evolution. Wouldn't it be foolish to dismiss either if there is evidence for both?
