My elbow s hurt when it rains. I have arthritis in the joints. The humidity seems to swell the calcium and excert pressure on the joints which causes the pain. In some people aspirin taken daily, (the low dose kind, 81 mg) is a good manager.

the air pressure is lower on rainy days thus causing ones joints to hurt

I am very sensitive to weather changes because I have both rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. I've always thought it was due to barometric changes. High humidity is the demon more than temperature change. My muscles ache also because of fibromyalgia.
