Just be careful & make sure you have your Vitamin D & calcuim levels checked regurally (when you have your yearly physical). I used to drink allot of milk daily ( at least 1 glass with each meal) & just found out that my Vitamin D level is through the roof b/c of it (actually in the "toxic" stage) &, I have a high level of calcium in my blood & also secreteing it , so, it caused me to have numerous kidney stones as well :( . The only good part is that I had a bone scan done & my bones are "stronger than normal", but, since the vitamin D level/calcuim is still high, I now have to take a water pill & drastically reduce the amount of dairy I eat (I can only have 2 oz of dairy a day now.....so, I can't even eat a yogurt :( )
Anyways, just be careful & get yourself checked/monitered so that, if it starts to get high, you can cut back before you get to have to deal with all the stuff I have to now :(

Milk provides essential calcium for the health of your bones. On the other hand, the milk fat is not good for the cholesterol. Use it in moderation.

for the proper calcium intake per day is 3 (8 oz) glasses.
I am sure you won't turn into a cow if you have more.
some people need to drink alot of milk for their ulcers etc.
unless you are lactose intolerant (heehee), my personal opinion is you should be okay, providing you don't eat much yogurt, cheese, etc

If you are drinking whole milk, yes because it has lots of fat. If you are drinking 2% then I think you should be ok.
