Depends what your goals are. If you are looking to build strength, you only need to do chest once per week (or twice if you decide to do one heavy day and one light day). For strength/mass, there is no need to do chest more than twice per week. Anything more is counterproductive.

This depends on what your goals are. If you are just trying to be toned up, once a week will work. If you are going for size and strength you should bench 2-3 times a week. Also no matter which muscle group you are training its a good idea to let your muscles rest about 72 hours, your muscles grow when they rest not when you work out. Something else you should keep in mind is to try and switch up your rountine meaning don't always do flat barbell benchs, switch it up, do inclines, declines, dumbell benching, flys, push ups, etc....

I'll assume you want to know for powerliftng purposes.
It depends on your level. As you get more advanced and build up your strength you need more time to recuperate. I need between 7 to 10 days to recuperate. I worked my bench up from 315 to 385 just by giving myself 7-10 days. In the past I did it 2 times a week.

Every other day, unless you feel sore the second day also. It is important to let your muscles rest, but you will not see results very quickly if you only lift once a week. Every other day is best for your muscles and your results! Good luck with your beefing up!

You need to allow the muscles time to rest and rebuild. You can't expect to get huge if you continually lift the same muscle groups.

At least a day between. I have a four day split with one day off except aerobics which I do every day.

In my experience best results come from going heavy one day per week with one light day in the week, and by light day I mean light weight with high reps on all chest exercises.

Do sluggish reps with the main weight you could handle wisely. relax another day. the article is to tear the muscle tissues somewhat. Then enable them time to heal. this might advance them. continuously drink extremely some water (no longer soda, no beer) and this keeps you hydrated and enables your physique heal itself.
