In Revelation 4:11 the elders declare to God, "Thou art worthy to receive glory and honor: for thou hast created all things, and for Your good pleasure they are and were created." The good pleasure of His will. God has chosen you. God has predestined you to be His children that He might receive pleasure from your willful obedience to His will. That you might be faithful, obedient children in which the Father can take pride.

To answer this question we must ask, what is the purpose of Creation? Did God create everything just so He could love or be loved? The Bible tells us the purpose of Creation is simply to "glorify" God -- This is repugnant to humanistic people (even some Christians) who think mankind is so important & the focus of everything.
Simply, "His good pleasure" = God does what He wants, for His own glory. Read the Job story & you will see what I mean. Job thought it was unfair that God decreed that Satan could ravish Job's life yet in the end, Job repents & realizes it is God's right & God does what He wants with His own creation (His good pleasure) Start in chapter 32 -- See also Rom 9:11-21

God changes you...acknowledging that your life is purpose.....I have been blessed to have grown up in a christian background, with a sprinkling of baptist and a drizzle of Jehova Witness and a dash of muslim religions...and from all my experience if you can see into your heart to want change you can feel it....Testifying to others is the best way to keep the spirit alive...I feel so good after I leave church....when I pray I know it will do some good somewhere even it is not for me...I am most connected when I hear a soulful gospel tune that makes me cry inside...sometimes I break out in song myself...it is a pleasure to know of God...to feel God...to let God be a part of me...

A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
—John 13:34 NIV
Love is the new commandment Jesus gave under the New Covenant. The love walk is a liberating lifestyle because it sets us free from self.
Love is a sacrifice—it costs. Every time we love someone, it costs us something. Time, talent, money, or pride may be the cost.
Forgiveness is love; it costs pride to forgive. The flesh is basically lazy and passive; it always wants effortless benefits. Love is effort.
There seems to be a lack of joy among God's people; one of the major reasons is that we often become passive, looking for an effortless lifestyle.
Love is involvement. It is impossible to have true relationship without involvement. Involvement requires commitment; commitment requires work; work is effort.
Love is an effort; it is an effort to walk in love.
Love is involvement, not isolation. Love requires reaching out. Love says, "I'm sorry," first and initiates the move that can bring restoration and understanding.
Love involves sacrificial giving. Love doesn't do the right thing to get something; love does the right thing because it is right. Love is healing; love restores.
