misconceptions...?

I think I understand now
people think that people work with spirit when doing things like tarot readings etc , when they don't

is it possible that after all these years that there are still so many misconceptions about these things ?
what we do not understand ... we fear ?

There will always be misconceptions and miscommunications in any realm. They say to walk in a another's shoes but sometimes one still can't truly grasp the situation. Yes there is fear in the unknown. Just be one to suck it up and try to see it through another's eyes. It would make the world a whole lot better with at least one extra person being objective and compassionate.

Quite agree with you Pangel, but ignorance is bliss as they say.

What power is in a bit of card with a picture on anyway? Such silliness.

Most people don't understand the difference between working on a purely psychic level or a mediumistic level. I work with both and when I am working with Tarot cards don't need to tune into Spirit at all.

Hi Pangel,
I feel that there is so much "chance" in this line and then there are those who live by the results of their Tarrot Readings that I would prefer not to get involved with it. I certainly do NOT put anyone down who is interested in using it but I feel that it is an many cases a piece of satan's work and I would prefer NOT to be involved with it. It am a twenty year Christian at this time. Have a great day and a wonderful week.

I'm a bit lost on this one, Pangel.
What do people work with, if not spirit when doing tarot?

Edit: Pangel, if that's your definition, and it works for you, that's fine. But, others do believe they connect with something higher than themselves through tarot and other divination tools. Neither is right or wrong on this one. It's a matter of perspective.

Yes of course there will be many misconceptions, if you do not believe in such things then why would you go out of your way to find out more about them.

Also if we do not understand something then it does not necessarily lead to fear. Most people do not understand how medicines work but they still let doctors inject them.

people may or may not work with spirits when reading tarot cards, its down to personal technique

when i read tarot cards, its more about gaining a perspective of the person im reading and understanding why they act the way they do

Yes as long as there are still large religous groups that teach against alternative spiritualities people will always listen.... but thats just me Im not a big fan of organized religion

You know, I think some people have sensory perceptions that allow them to feel spirits whether they like it or not.

and the spirits know that ..they just know it somehow.

and some people are completely hopeless when it comes to feeling spirits...

so let me just say, a person who works with spirits...doesnt need a tarot card to do it :) its a talent really..a God given one perhaps.

but yes...coming to your misconception question ..I agree.

some people wont be hearing anything from spirit if they cracked their skull open and prayed for it night and day...it just aint gonna happen.

People want answers.... conclusions.... closure.
If they cannot find answers then they will make up answers... and cling to them desperately.

People don't seem to realise that nature doesn't work that way.
Nature doesn't deal in beginnings nor ends.
Nature doesn't deal in purpose nor meaning.
Nature is just a process... an unconscious, fluid change in all things... operating under its own momentum.
