I drank about 1-1/2 litre of fruit juice and now I keep urinating frequently [about every 10-15 minutes]. i'm fully hydrated because my urine is water. but the problem is, i have really bad pain in my lower back when i feel the need to urinate [i think its my kidneys, or could be]. i've learnt about water intoxication and although what i drank wasn't water, could it still kill me? please help. also how can i deal with this ??

you could die, but not because of this
Go to your doc
Why did you drink so much juice( i dont think that helps but I just had to say it)
Seriously, only a doctor can give you the right info

Well anything is possible. But as long as you are urinating and you can walk then you may live to tell about it. And since you seem to have some bad pain going on then of course you need to go to the emergency room and be checked. I can't say what's wrong with you. But if you hurt this bad then go on to the Doctor and get some help! that's why they make the big bucks. Good luck to you and God Bless You!

If you've learned anything about "Water Intoxication" you would know "Over Hydrating" can cause damage that can cause shock and possible death.
So.....YES you can die, however if you can sit and type at your computer I think you'll be okay. Maybe you should shut er down and go see the Doc. I doubt it's the 1 1/2 liters of fluid.

I really dont think you will die. Though too much of anything cant be breat for you. But as fruit juice is natural and contains sugars and substances your body can easily use, I think you should be ok. Though the pain does sound typical of straining your body on having drunk alot of fluids. It mikght even just be that your bosy is just trying to resolve this problem, but if this continues for longer than 30 minutes or so, I would phone a doctor and ask advice.

Normally doctors can give you advice over the phone or even a pharmacist. Best of luck

You could die anytime even if you don't feel bad... But the lower back pain and kidneys happen sometimes... I don't know how to exactly deal with it, but I hope you'll be fine!

Why the he// would you drink all of that anyway? Yeah, the nintendo Wii lady died from water intoxication. But WHY would you drink that much in the first place? You should have to sit there all day and wonder whether you're gonna die to learn you a lesson missy.

1.5l is not going to hurt you.

Could be the fiber moving through the colon.
Have you been constipated?
If so, expect to drop a big load later.

Could also be stones or an infection.

you can have kidney stones, a bladder or kidney infection. i suspect bladder infection because you are drinking so much.
i don't think you are gonna die, but, if you have an infection, or kidney stones...........you need a doctor for treatment.

good luck!
