have you ever been possesed , had anything bad happen as a result of reading cards ?
I know myself as a reader from the age of 11 ( now 38 ) that nothing in my life is a result of reading pieces of paper

Ent sweetie
with respect
you gave the message , the message was wrong and sadly that would have happened to your friend with or without that reading
the cards are not to blame for that
personally i would not tell someone to persue someone else ... that is taking away free will

Yes, I did a reading for a friend once, she was asking about this guy she liked and whether or not to pursue something with him. The cards indicated a very positive message (the Sun was her final foretelling card, she got the Empress as well), so she started dating him, and she was later raped by him.
So wait Pangel, are you saying that you don't believe that Tarot cards have any kind of influence on you at all? Then why in the world have you been reading them since you were 11?
EDIT - I didn't tell her to pursue, I simply told her the cards indicated a positive message, she made the choice on her own.

Tarot is such an ancient art form and reading them a powerful skill. It is not a game and if you treat it as such then you will not get the desired results. A true reader doesn't just take the cards strict meaning and use it all the time, it has to be intuitive also. Ouija Boards well......... more fool you who plays around with what you don't know. As for evil and possession cards are not evil and they cannot posses you. You will always get rouge traders selling their "gift" for loads of money and giving the art a bad name.

I've been reading tarot for nearly 20 years. No, I've never been possessed, nor has anything bad happened as a result of my reading the tarot.
It is simply a guide, a snapshot of a moment in time. By the very reading itself, you have changed something.
They are also excellent tools for meditation, and some even use them for creative thinking in business situations.
If someone says differently, then the fault lies with the reader and not the cards.

No, I never have. I've given the occassional bad news but never been possessed, or had anything happen to myself. I've been reading card since 20 and am now 45 (but I've been "reading" the wind and trees since I was a little girl). Nothing evil or bad can happen from reading peices of paper. That's a bunch of hooey.

Well, everything happens at certain pre-determined times and places. I would not delve into something like that because telling the future through cards/pieces of paper - looking at the stars or any other medium is a gateway to hell that you might not see opening. Think of this - the devil would have you think that tarot cards are harmless and they are fun to handle. WHile at the same time he is reeling you in like a fish on a hook dragging you away from God. Satan does not care for you or about you - he is laughing while you are messing around with something that is not fulfilling your mind, heart, and soul.
I would hope that you walk away from tarot cards and look to something else that is not of the devil.

Nope, it's just a game. Whether you believe in the forecasting properties or not, they were designed as an amusement.
I have had some nasty experiences through peoples ignorance of them; I was kicked out of my ex's house by his Mum because I gave him some as a gift (you're not supposed to buy your own), she said she could smell evil on me!

I've never read seriously (long term reader such as yourself) as they are much too easy to misinterpret. No one should stake their lives on the turn of a card or the roll of a dice.

There is no negative powers that can affect anyone unless someone allows it into their life. One good way to allow negativity into your life is by playing around with spirit entities that you have no idea about.
Mostly, its just nonsense, and certainly there is not an evil spirit behind every bush,
but they do exist, and those who invite them in, cause their own misery.
