God loves you and He does not want to lose anyone of you. Do you understand that you did not chose heaven if you ended up in hell?

If you do not believe in hell and heaven, why do you even bother with the subject?

Tell me your thoughts. : )

PS: What goes for me, I also would like to see you in heaven...but I rather want you to make that choice than anyone else making that for you...including me. I believe in free will. It is God's way.

God loved us so much that He gave us a choice. I do not understand why anyone would choose hell.

Everyone is God conscious whether they realise it or not, or admit to it or not. There is indeed a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Your right - its a personal choice, but who - in their right mind would want to go to hell.

Hell exists, and saying it doesn't does not altar that fact. In other words your disbelief in hell does not determine the outcome. Think seriously about this. There is good and evil, there is God and satan. Satan is called the deceiver, the father of lies - he wants you dead and in hell, but Jesus died to give you opportunity not to go to hell.

God is not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

Prepare to meet God. Its the biggest preparation decision of all time.

I'd choose hell. God can't be a very nice guy he trapped us here on this earth and watches more people suffer then more people do good. Thankfully I do pretty well for myself and my family but i give absolutely no thanks to that thing you guys worship. Until there is not one starving child or children getting sexually abused and physical abused I will not believe that there is a all powerful thing that loves us. If there is a god and he does love us I would hate to see what would happen if he hated us. You believers say that it is free will for a 3 year old girl to get raped by her dad? and god is supposed to be our father tell me what father sits back and watches his children get raped and die due to starvation. I help children out as much as I can. So if there really is a god and a heaven I want to be as far away from the selfish son of a b*tch as I can.

God loves us so much that he did not create a place of fiery eternal torment for humans. Think about what the punishment was for the sin that Adam and Eve committed.

Genesis 2:16 & 17: "And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”

Period. He said"you will positively die". They did...after having time to begin to populate the earth, they died...with no hope of a resurrection. That was it for them...God did not tell them if they disobeyed he would roast them forever in hell...
(by the way, hell means the common grave of mankind)

As for heaven, yes, there certainly is a heaven. It is reserved for God, Jesus, all the spirit creatures and the small number of humans who have been bought from the earth to rule over mankind as kings and priests and judges. The rest of us have the hope of resurrection to life on earth, and some may never die, but will make it through the tribulation. This is all in your Bible. This is what the Bible really teaches.

Before you make up your mind that I am crazy or misled, why not really check out the following articles. Look up all the Scriptures with your own Bible, and then see if this doesn't start making a lot of sense. You will find that the Bible has a common theme from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. You will also learn that our loving Creator would never even consider a place of fiery eternal torment for his creation.

Okay, it works like this -
It's called consent.
If I'm on a date with a girl and she says no to me, and I keep going, regardless, I commit a crime.
Because I didn't have her consent.
Fair enough.
I have given up counting years ago the number of times I have told Christians 'No'.
But they don't listen. They just keep on going.
Can you see where I'm going with this? And it's not a matter of criminality, it's a matter of a violation of a much more severe nature.
I don't know how much clearer I can make it for you.
No means No.
I don't want to hear about it. I don't care about Heaven or Hell.
Most of all, as I have tried to outline above, I don't care what your or anyone else's 'plans' for my soul are.
I come to R&S to read, to learn.
I do not consider seeing the same third grade education level claptrap, repeatedly posted to be particularly entertaining.
Get some new material.
Stop telling me what You want for me.
I don't care.
You wanted my thoughts, you got them.

The first answerer said it right. She took the words (well, most of them) out of my mouth, literally.

I don't believe in hell. I believe heaven is on earth and I am enjoying the most as I can. And coming here to question and answer is not painful at all. I want you to enjoy your life. I am not forcing my belief on anyone, "I rather want you to make that choice than anyone else making that for you". I am just answering from my heart, literally.

There is no hell. There is no heaven. This is all stuff that was made up to control you. It's working. If you really saw the light, you'd see this.

Christians threatening me with hell bother me as much as anyone else threatening torture. Strangely Christians seem to threaten it more often than any other group.

Right. Your God is so "loving" that all humans ever born are cursed to go to your fantasy "Hell" right out the gate...and can only escape it if they stroke your god's massive ego.

I do not believe in either particularly, but I do get irritated when someone dares to pass such a judgement on me. What folks like you don't seem to get is that by declaring someone as "going to hell", you are in fact judging them according to your own myopic standards. You blind yourself to this fact by running behind your Bible and proclaiming that "this is God's judgement, not mine"...a blatant lie.

So I get rather put out when some arrogant git comes along and starts ranting about how much I "deserve God's wrath". It is the arrogance of these people (such as you) who pass moral judgement on others that bothers me.

The Christian right are intolerant of free thinkers. They feel they have little or nothing to learn from perspectives other than their own. They wish to raise their children in "closed" sometimes "Anglo only" environments, exposing them as little as possible to the "corrupting" influences of the outside world. Indeed, by isolating their children this way, they pass on their intolerance to their progeny. Music and art to the Christian right must conform to their biblical beliefs. For example, lyrics or art labeled "pornographic," films and/or books that accept, not necessarily promote, homosexuality as an alternative life style are condemned as corrupting influences on youth. The Christian right, almost gratuitously makes homosexuality a rallying point, a way to raise "true believers" in thoughtless, easy condemnation. They readily claim that the country is run by homosexuals and blame them for numerous social ills. To many of the Christian right, AIDS represents God's punishment of homosexuals.

There is no god, heaven or hell. Do you not understand that I don't care what you believe? I can discuss religion and spirituality and be an Atheist.

although some might say "Its to afraid" people into believing... (You gotta love some people's grammar at here)... it truly is greater basic than that. The "Hell" all of us know and love is definitely a lots older concept than Heaven. It has this form of wealthy historical past from various cultures with lots gildings to truly upload vividness to the photographs painted of it. From the Underworld of Egypt to the Hades of Greece, the origins of Valhalla, the pit of hearth used to sacrifice little ones interior the Hinnom Valley purely outdoors Jerusalem for the period of pre-judaic circumstances, Hell has been created with lots greater realness than the different concept in on the instant's Bible. on the turn factor, Heaven replaced into purely God's living place. It existed up interior the sky previous the firmament. people caught glimpses of it at evening interior the path of the little pinprick holes (Stars) and it became common to be a place of everlasting mild. it is it. no longer lots else to chat of. And for this reason we've a wealthy, properly customary place referred to as Hell, designed to scare the living pants off every physique who does no longer stick to a righteous direction, and Heaven, some place way up extreme that all of us know no longer something approximately truly, yet might desire to be a greater ideal place. shouldn't it?
