The bible says how to identify a true believer- the gospel of Mark chapter 16 verse 17 and 18 --- "there will be signs for true believers and amongst the signs in my name they shall cast out devils and they shall speak foreign tongues and drink deadly poison and they shall still not be harmed and when they lie their hand over the head of the sick then the sick will be cured.

If any of you is a true christian believer i want to know who drank deadly posion and is living or come on atleast speak foreign tongues and i mean not just 1 language but several languages. Does this all make you christians false believers. Im sure no one will NOT be harmed after drinking deadly poison.

Why do I suspect you really don't care about this passage and are just trying to find yet another way to bash Christians.

The most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20.

Nevertheless, these signs did accompany those that believed. Just because one doesn't guzzle down a lead sulphur shake doesn't mean they are NOT believers. A true believer will show the fruits of the Spirit.

First, you need to read the temptation and see if it is proper to do something that normally would cause harm to ourselves for the sake of proving it. Matt 4:1-11

If you then examine the Bible, you'll see that the gifts of the Helper, Comforter helped the apostle Paul to do exactly what you mentioned "18 and with their hands they will pick up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly it will not hurt them at all."

Acts 28:2-3 . . .. 3 But when Paul collected a certain bundle of sticks and laid it upon the fire, a viper came out due to the heat and fastened itself on his hand.

If you then were familiar with the Bible you would also know that the special gifts of the Helper disappeared as it was prophesied by Paul:
1 Corinthians 13:8-10 8 Love never fails. But whether there are [gifts of] prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with. 9 For we have partial knowledge and we prophesy partially; 10 but when that which is complete arrives, that which is partial will be done away with.

Obviously, these special gifts served the first Born Again Christians to prove that they were the new spiritual Israel. Once the Holy Scriptures had been fully completed 100% and the fledgling congregation had outgrown its childhood, these special gifts vanished as the first apostles and disciples died off.
The Helper still assists but not with these special things that were supposed to disappear.

I will commit this one personal revelation though: Once many years ago, I was suddenly put in a deadly situation, totally unavoidable!

I was infused with so much power beyond what any human being should have that I survived without a scratch, the onlookers all stood with their mouths open and gaped at what had occurred.

This is not the only time I have been saved miraculously!

The holy Christ spoke the language of parables as such the words are not to be taken in literal sense, rather in the sublimer sense.Any person true to the conviction cannot die spiritually even if he is made to take poison, definitely, he can cast the devilish ideas from those suffering spiritually and unable to accept truth, he speak the langauge of morality and spirituality which is foreign languge committed to wordly pursuits and the touch his hand will heal those mentally sick due to wrong understanding of religion. If these sayings are taken literal, it conveys an understanding of an idealogy with very smaller objectives limited to few individual, capable to create a transitory sensation. The time of old christainity is long over, now it is the time of Promissed Messiah, you vcan find hundereds of thousands of such people now christained as Ahmedies throughout the world, doing all this free of any cost but at the cost of their own lives, comforts and money for the good of humanity.

The operative words here are "in My name". This means that when a believer is ministering in the name of the Lord when someone tries to poison him the Lord promises that he will not be harmed. It does not invite a believer to deliberately drink poison. Christians speak in foreign or new tongues when the Holy Spirit gives them utterances. Christians who are baptized with the Holy Spirit speak with tongues all the time. Tongues could be tongues of men or of angels (1 Cor 13:1).

The Bible says people who have self assurance would be accompanied via those indications. It says no longer something approximately real CHRISTIANS. DMX is a believer yet he's unquestionably no longer a Christian. Demons have self assurance, yet are not Christians, no longer to show genuine ones. (James 2:19) And, in case you knew the Bible, you may comprehend that alot of what the authors wrote have been metaphoric. You had to have a latest given via God to decipher it. that is glaring no one would desire to do all those thigns with out God giving the means to take action.

I do not purposely drink deadly poison nor should anyone.

Have you ever seen Pastor Benny Hinn on TV? People are healed through Jesus Christ on his show all the time.

Throughout His Word, God has promised us His protection. He is especially watchful over those He has commissioned to carry out His work, as well as all those whom He has called to make a witness for Him. The Bible is full of examples of His power to deliver His servants from life-threatening situations.

However, He does not guarantee to cover our foolishness when we put ourselves into potentially dangerous situations. He abhors being tempted—tested—as if He needs to prove Himself and His power to us. Psalm 78 shows His distaste for the Israelites' constant testing of Him in the wilderness. The last thing He desires is for members of His church to follow their example of unbelief (see Hebrews 3:7 through 4:2).

For example, A snake bit the apostle Paul while he was on the island of Malta, and no harm came to him (Acts 28:1-6). However, he did not go looking for the snake in an effort to prove his faith. The snake bit him unexpectedly, in front of others, and God protected him as promised.

This is saying that true believers will have faith in Jesus Christ so great that even something that should kill them, they will be cured of. This is not at all implying that every believer will drink poisen...

Come on now...

The truth is on the surface, you dont have to dig so deep!
