I see so often people advising others not to use tarot etc , that they open people up to demonic influences
may I ask why demons would need something mass produced , made in factories by people , little pieces of card with pretty pictures on .... why would they need anything like that to act as a doorway ?
whether you believe they work or not
isn't it more likely that it is the fear of them that is the doorway to anything negative that happens ?

There is nothing evil about tarot cards. People who think that are just ignorant on the topic. My sister uses them, and we both took a class on how to read them. I found it interesting even though I don't believe they necessarily work. I do think they give people the answers that they already know themselves. Hard to explain but anyone with tarot experience may understand what I mean.

It is not the product that is the so called doorway. When a person is practicing tarot card and other tools that are similar. They are communing with the spiritual world. Because these tools are advised by the wrong spirits this is how the invitation is created. As far as demons needing something mass produced. What better way to reach the masses of souls then by mass producing a product and saying it is just a game.

I read them, but only for close friends and family. They're no more dangerous than horoscopes. For me they just point to a topic that needs to be discussed.
I've never known anything negative to be associated with Tarot cards, except people freaking out over the 'Death' card because they don't understand it doesn't actually mean Death. This is why I only read for people who understand it. It's just too hard to explain symbolism to some people.
Spiritualists know that 'demons' can only enter your presence if invited. Cards don't invite, people do. They summon them out of fear.

I agree with you that fear would act as a much more likely doorway to negative entities. But on the other hand if you do read the tarot or any divination tool. You do open yourself to energy to receive information and if you are not protected or believe that you are, i feel that maybe that can act as a doorway as well.

You are correct in saying that fear while using these things, will open the doors to negative influences.
Readings, as they are done through our spirit. Also
sometimes give us answers we want, and are not True.
One should always ask for guidance and protection when doing these things, and ask the Highest Power for a True reading.
People also make to much of divination, with their "fed" beliefs that everything is written in stone and cannot be changed. Which is contrary to Free Will.
Readings give us answers to where we are on our path at that moment in time. And if we continue on that path, what the inevitable result will be.
One can always make a choice to turn from that path.

I think you ask a very good question here. As president of the American Tarot Association, my response may be a bit slanted but I don't think there is any correlation between demonology and tarot reading. I believe it is a fear-based response to a divination system that can be eerily accurate.

As I've said before, there is as much danger in reading fortunes via tarot cards and ouija boards as there is in forcasting the weather - that only danger is you don't always get it right.
I personally don't believe that anything can be fortold via tarot but I do believe that the result of the session can help to guide one in the right direction. Usually it's based entirely on the reader's morality.

I used to have a tarot deck and I used to work on it and tinker with it everyday.
It didnt feel like there was an entity around to bug me.
but after a couple of months, I felt a different energy signature around me while doing the readings. As an empath I can read energy signatures pretty well too. And it wasnt anyone I knew from before.
Ofcourse that scared me a lot.
I still believe they help you connect to your subconscious mind, but I didnt like the energy signature I felt that day. Creeped me out. and the cards have been thrown away.
I dont think its the cards that are doing it tho.
I firmly believe its the following attitude: asking things into the unknown to get answers.
This might invite creatures to come around and and try to contact you in some way.

Just like voodoo or any superstition, it only works it you believe.
If you believe that tarot cards will lead to demonic possession, then perhaps it will.
This gets us into all kinds of questions about demons being real or merely psychological and all that. Personally, I think you can almost make anything happen if you program yourself for it. The human mind is quite malleable.

It's matter of your heart and mind's alignment, sorry if you don't agree.
Look Pangel, I used to read Tarot cards for a living and I was very good at it. When you align your heart and mind to the energy coming from the cards you are opening the doorway to negative spiritual influence, it's the same as with Ouija boards. I know you disagree, I respect that you have a different opinion than I do. But I stand by my answer.
