In this story it talks about "violating their constitutional rights"... Why are illegal aliens protected under OUR Constitution??? I understand that they don't want to have to leave their children, who were born in this country, behind. They should have to take them with back over the border then. The couple that the story talks about has been evading deportation since like 1997 and now the government has finally caught with them and now they want to talk about Constitutional rights...I think that's ridiculous.

Alias...yeah, that's great that they saved a couple of lives. But does that mean he should be forgiven for illegal behavior? Kudos to them for being good Samaritans, but they if they are illegal aliens, its doesn't wipe the slate clean. By that rationale, convicted criminals should be acquitted because they committed a random act of kindness in the joint. Perhaps they saves their cell mate from from getting knifed by another inmate. Does that get them out of jail?? Does that negate the fact they are convicted drug dealers, sexual predators, bank robbers, or murderers? No. They are still criminals...regardless of any selfless acts they may do. American citizens get punished for engaging in illegal activity. Why should illegals aliens not be treated the same way???

And I'm not racist...I'm an American and I have no problem with other Americans. I do, however, have a problem with illegal immigrants coming here and cheating the system while we Americans pay for their free ride. DON'T call me a racist, Sister...

And Ms. Diana...you don't think that some of these people are engagin in other illegal activity, besides there being here illegally? You missed the point, my Dear...the point is, illegal activity is illegal activity - no matter how you slice it. And what's good for the goose, is good for the gander. If Americans get punished for illegal activity, then so should every other person that lives here, even if that means your punishment is that you are sent back to whatever country you came from. They want to live here and leach off of our Government and be protected by the same Constitution of America, but they don't want to obey the laws or even learn the language. You can't pick and choose what you want to obey in this Country. It all comes part and parcel with being a citizen. And if they don't want to obey the laws, then they have no right being here - period.

Alias...I didn't say that the illegals are convicted murderers, drug dealers, and rapists...you took that out of context. I meant convicted criminals in general...

So if I go save someone from a burning car or building, does that mean I can go commit another crime and get off the hook for it???
"But Officer...I saved a man from a burning building. You can't arrest me for drug possession."
Yeah...somehow, I don't think that'll get me off the hook...unless I were Mexican I guess.

"God asked us to provide for the weak, especially children" and we try to, for our own poor and children, then these people whose own governments should similarly provide for THEIR poor come and take our children's education and our poor people's benefits.
It was a lot easier to be compassionate before they became so many and considered themselves so 'entitled.'
Now our schools are failing and our hospitals are closing and our wages for our working class are dropping so they no longer support our own workers unless they too resort to public aid, further draining our services....
They should do away with birthright citizenship as have every country in the EU and Canada. Then this problem your article describes wouldn't exist.

Somehow, people like Ms. Aguirre have become convinced that the US government cannot remove them if they have been here long enough and have US children. The churches are not helping them by perpetuating the myth that they have the right to stay in the US. Nobody is going to make ICE stop deporting people who have had their day in court and have been ordered by a judge to leave. There is no legal basis for that. No church can make that happen, it doesn't matter how many letters they write. It is the law.
And I get sick of hearing all the crying and hand wringing over US citizen children having to live in Mexico. The people doing all this screaming know their children will be fine, they can come back as adults. These wily illegals only want to manipulate the sympathy of misinformed Americans.
I wish someone would tell the Americans who think that the protesting, letter writing and public moaning will work that if having a kid in the US meant you could stay, then pretty much every illegal would get to stay because most of them have kids born here. The rest of them would start making some right away and virtually every pregnant woman in Latin America would be on a bus to the border.

If everyone notices, there was no mention of the fact that these children's parents had broken the law; all that was mentioned is how the family will be devastated over the fact they have to go home. The priests even forgot to mention the parents' illegality! This total disregard is commonplace when it comes to immigration laws in the US and is the very reason why so many Americans have such animosity towards anyonw who tries to justify illegal immigrants' "plight."
Did anyone notice how the woman who works for the American Muslim Voice said that the children only have two choices (foster care or going home) when in reality the children can stay here with family members, or go home with their parents.

Why should law-abiding American Citizens care about the plight of illegal immigrants children? Pedro Ramirez and Isabel Aguirre have been under deportation orders since 1997 -- that means they are fugitives from justice and have been since 1997. They have two children, one aged 10 and the other aged 6. That means that those two children were born to be used as pawns to justify allowing the fugitives to stay in the USA. They are are nothing more than child abusers and criminals and they should be deported along with their children -- products of illegal acts.
The fact that the churches are getting involved -- and you need to look closely at the churches that are getting involved, indicates that these churches are fronts for invasion forces and are not emissaries for God -- they are emissaries for law-breakers. Much of the world is experiencing a Jihad -- religious war. The Churches in the United States are using their tax exempt status to finance these wars, to aid and abett illegal immigrants to assist in money laundering and to use the sanctuary of the church to harbor their soldiers under the guise of religion.
Does God teach you to disobey the laws of the land or does he teach that you "Give unto Caesar what is Caesar's and give unto God what is God's"? Even Jesus did not break the laws and did not encourage breaking the laws. That's why he was crucified.
We should all contact the National Council of Churches and the IRS and demand that they cease and desist in their Anti-American political involvement or face the immediate removal of their tax exempt status and lose their sanctuary status. I don't want to support a church that is pro-criminal, do you? In the source list are the addresses of the people and churches who are supporting this. Please take action and let them know we don't support them.

Illegal aliens have no constitutional rights! They have the right to have their butts kicked out of this country. We have to stop this process of giving citizenship to the children of illegal aliens. You can help this happen by singing the petition below. Thanks.
Our present policy encourages the violation of immigration laws by automatically granting citizenship to children born to illegal aliens. Families enter the United States illegally for the purpose of giving birth to a U.S. citizen. These anchor babies then serve as the basis for additional immigration of family members.
Most other countries do not have such a policy. Our system rewards those who are abusing our generous immigration laws.
It is also very costly. The mothers gain access to a multitude of costly medical and social services for their children. These illegal immigrants are then allowed to remain in the country. Most of these illegal aliens are poor, so that they are able to gain welfare, medicaid, food stamps, and other gifts from our state and federal govenment. In effect, the U.S. government is subsidizing "Cheap Labor" for the multinational corporations that have zero loyalty to our country.
I urge you to reform our immigration policy and limit automatic citizenship by supporting HR 133.

Just another tear jerker aimed at us by the pro illegal media. They are NOT citizens and they don't have any rights under the US Constitution.
The only rights the have are under their own country's laws and rules in that country. I am unmoved, the parents knew the risks when they crossed the border illegally. Send them all back.
The Constitution was written by and for Americans and it applies to citizens of this nation. That was its only intent.
Repeal or re-institute the 14th amendment to its original and only intent. Not a loop hole for illegal aliens babies.
Written by one of the authors of the 14th Amendment.:
This amendment which I have offered is simply declaratory of what I regard as the law of the land already, that every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, ALIENS, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.

Illegal aliens have no constitutional rights here because they aren't citizens. They should have been deported years ago - along with that wacko lady in the Chicago church. ALL illegal alien criminals must be deported. (they are criminals because they are breaking our laws.)
NO MORE ANCHOR BABIES - the 14th amendment wasn't written to apply to illegal aliens - it applied to slavery before the civil war!
