Can you show us the proof of the so-called "Christians" who have sent you emails containing threats and profanities?
Come up with them, and we'll discuss this.
You are full of crap.
Nobody is speaking hate against anyone.
What people like you are attempting to do,
is turn the table and say things like that
Christians are against gay marriage because obviously they hate people. Those mean rotten Christians. Surely they are just bigoted hateful people who want to make it hard for the rest of us to change society into a playground for God only knows what.
My comment to you is this:
Ya wanna be athiest? Gay? Anti-God?
Go ahead. Be whatever you want. But the
USA is just slightly above 81% majority
Christian, and you will just get as far with your dirty agenda as the Good Lord decides, and then you're done. People like you have a limited span of time; hey, use it any way you see fit. When Christ returns,
He ushers in a 1000 year period of teaching and strict disipline. Both of which are badly needed. You will learn self-disipline, self-control, and you will keep your mouth shut and be made to learn something so that ignorance doesn't destroy you.
If you continue your nonsense past that point, all you say and all you are will be a moot point. Funny, huh?

BAM! You hit the nail on the head............Christians. What is a Christian? A title and nothing more. Are we auto mechanics if we fix our car? Are we plumbers because we unclog our pipes? Is someone a Christian because they say they are and can quote a few Bible verses? No to all of those. If they were obeying the word of God they would not hate anyone. Get annoyed? Yes, but not hate. For all you know those who claim to be a Christian could be someone just pretending. And there are a lot of those in the church today I should know. I go to a church with many of them. I have a relationship with the Lord and its great for me. Perhaps someday you will find the joy that I have in the Lord. I have found atheists to know the Bible as well if not better than so called Christians. So if they cant defend the word and spew things out that is not what many would call Christian then they probably are not. Remember its not the title its our relationship. Have a great day and Peace out.......

The only irony is that you believe what you do. I have never known a Christian who has hated ANYONE. Alot of you atheists make patently absurd comments about Christianity or the Bible, misquote or misinterpret entire bible verses, ask Christians what they think or believe about what you obviously misquote, misunderstand, or misinterpret, and then say we "hate" you when we answer you. That fact is a recurring theme all through this section. So, the question properly should be the same only with "atheist" in place of Christian.

.I am so totally at peace with my self to say I am an Atheist. I don't have to condemn anyone, Christians, Muslims, Pagans or anyone of any religion, BUT, I think I am in a position to see clearly from what I read and have read with the responses to your question, that, Christians will give you a vitriolic answer then say "have a nice day" or May God Bless You.... which to them I'm guessing makes it all O.K. but really its clearly NOT O.K. People can love and obsess about any God they like, whether be Muslim, Catholic or Christian ect but dint slam or judge those who choose not too believe. As I wrote I'm an Atheist but I would definitely not be vitriolic about my answers. Maybe I dont have the pressure of belief to warrant me to hate/condem....

As an atheist I do have my own beliefs and would like to leave well enough alone. Now if you can get all the Christians to keep their beliefs to themselves then it would be much easier. Believe it or not I actually already know that according to many Christians I am headed for hell, I don’t need constant reminding just so one can earn brownie points with their supposed deity. When you tell someone that the creator of universe recognizes me as a “fallen creature” and that a blood sacrifice was necessary just so he would even consider allowing me in his presence, then top if off with I am going spend eternity in agonizing torment, what kind of reaction would you expect? I’m certainly now the one with the psychological problems?

You can't stereotype Christians, just as you can't stereotype a specific race of people. Sure Christians all have something in common, but each person is an individual, so you should treat them as such To stereotype is an indication of ignorance. And judge to what you are ignorant about makes you look stupid. So next time keep your rants to yourself.

http://www.sullivan-county.com/identity/intol_right.htm
The Christian right are intolerant of free thinkers. They feel they have little or nothing to learn from perspectives other than their own. They wish to raise their children in "closed" sometimes "Anglo only" environments, exposing them as little as possible to the "corrupting" influences of the outside world. Indeed, by isolating their children this way, they pass on their intolerance to their progeny. Music and art to the Christian right must conform to their biblical beliefs. For example, lyrics or art labeled "pornographic," films and/or books that accept, not necessarily promote, homosexuality as an alternative life style are condemned as corrupting influences on youth. The Christian right, almost gratuitously makes homosexuality a rallying point, a way to raise "true believers" in thoughtless, easy condemnation. They readily claim that the country is run by homosexuals and blame them for numerous social ills. To many of the Christian right, AIDS represents God's punishment of homosexuals.
THEIR HATRED ONLY MEANS that they do not understand the true meanings of the bible that they are so fond of quoting and that THEIR attitude can only mean one thing. THAT according to their religion, their behaviour and hatred condemns them and that THEY WILL GO TO THE HELL THAT THEY WISH ON EVERYONE ELSE.

Makes me believe that myself and the fellow atheists I know personally are far too sincere, kind and open minded to be Christians, I feel very sorry for them carrying around all that bitterness and hatred. Truth be told there dark hearts frighten me. I try to surround myself with compassionate people therefore, apart from family (which You can't do anything about) I steer well clear of Christians

The prominent number of us dont do that. The only ones who do are antichristians. The worst I (Think) Ive ever done is call people retarted for mocking peoples religion. One thing I will always hate is intolerance, and anyone who is intolerant is autamatically antichristian in my site. Why dont you email back them with something like I just said? If there Christian, they'll listen.
(The anti-Pagan ones at least make sense, as dictionary definition of Paganism is any religion incompatable with monotheism. I still dont approve of hatefulness, but at least it makes sense)
And by the way, fellow christians on here who have responded to this message with hate, kindly delete your message. calling him leader of the people wioth small heads isnt making him like us anymore.
