As CheeseA stated - on Yahoo anyone may be anything!

Accepting you on your word! Why is impotence such a problem for you? It probably happens to a lot of people as they grow older or have medical problems.

Enjoy book reading, enjoy the freedom from having to submit to your body's animalistic needs. What's the big deal?

I just heard today a discussion on radio about this problem, and I cannot verify the truth of the statements they made; but, it was said that most people have less real problem with their body performing as they have with a mental block! And, that people should seek out professional help.

Please don't blame me for what they said!

Well being 71 an impotent isn't really a bad thing, since, even if you could get it up, you probably wouldnt live to see the kid go to kindergarten.

Christy13 cold be asking for her grandfather or something, give "her" a break guys! (yeah...right)

Don't you think you've reached an age where you ought to be a bit more spiritual and a little less preoccupied with your libido?

Just for the record though, I don't believe you're 71 anything, christy13. If you're gonna bullsh*t get a screen name that won't raise suspicion.

Assuming you have no serious medical conditions and are not on drugs like nitrates, there is no reason why men of your age can't try Viagra and indeed many do.

Assuming you have a life partner PLEASE discuss it with them. Many happy but sexless relationships have oddly been destroyed by Viagra, as your partner might not want to restart a sexual relationship.

As you are asking this on the mental health topic....sorry no. You really need to contact somebody with a more (dare I say it?) hand on approach.
