A true follower of the Messiah believes the prophecies that the Messiah would be God and Jesus who recieved worship in the Gospels and offers to come into our heart and be our friend-which only God would or could do
the word Christian means a follower of the Messiah-which is what Christian mean=from the Greek word Cristos meaning Christ from the Hebrew word Messiah=the annointed one
Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a child is born a son is given and he will be almighty God, and the prince of peace."

Yes.
See 1 John 5:20, for example.
In most of the epistles he is referred to as the Lord Jesus Christ. Lord is a divine title when assigned to the Messiah.

Yes, he was according to John 1:1. So is Satan according to 2Cor 4:4. So also are the judges in ancient Israel according to Psalm 82:1-6.
But, have you really wondered why a god would worship another God. Jesus admitted this in John 20:17.
Jesus did not claim equality w/ his Father, even according to Paul. (Phil 2:6) Jesus admitted that he was inferior in might to his father. (John 14:28 )
Other than the imagination of trinitarians, what stronger proof is there that Jesus is inferior to his Father as he himself admitted?

Yes. Second Person of the Trinity. That is the belief that unites Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestants. And as to whether Jesus claimed it, that is what He meant when saying things like, "Before Abraham was I am" ("I am" being the name of God as given to Moses). And why do you think the Jewish Sanhedrin convicted Jesus? Because of the blasphemy of claiming equality with God. Etc, etc, etc.
