new tats are sensitive.
after they're healed it's just ink under the skin so it's feels like skin. nothing special about it but color.

Everyone has it right, once healed, the tattoo is under the skin so it feels no different. However, I love the feeling of being kissed or touched on my tattoo, just because it's on my right shoulder. It may seem more sensitive, but that's just a trick of the mind that I endulge!

Once a tattoo has healed the skin in that area is generally no more or less sensitive than anywhere else - it's just skin, and the tattoo doesn't really make any difference.
Hope this helps!

my mom has a tattoo and it was sore for the first few days because it was new and the skin was still healing from being pricked...but after that it was just like having a fake tattoo there.

tattooed places feel the same as any other skin once healed. When you initially get it, it feels like rugburn or a big scratch and while it's healing it's just very itchy.
