I am looking for a mature man that wants more than just booty. I have got dumped by my last 2 boyfriends b/c I didn't want to do it with them right away. I don't have a problem or anything, we were only seeing each other for a matter of days and the other one was a week and a half. Was I being too slow? I just like taking my time and maybe I was just moving a little too slow. If you have any advice, please share. I am ready for a real relationship, and I want love and respect.

sex is not to be taken lightly.. dont let anybody make you believe you are being slow because you arent!!!okay?
you are just a person who either has learned from her past mistakes and doesnt want to repeat them, or who has good principles and lives by them!
an advice that is being given too often to be taken as seriously as it should be: wait for the right guy as he is going to come around..just dont have too high standards...

Good grief, fish in a different pond =). If you've been seeing someone a week or two and they get mad that nothing has happened, it's them and not you. They're called "players". I've dated many. If a man likes/loves you, respects you, then that's not going to be an issue. I'm in a current relationship now where nothing happened between us for like three months. There were other issues involved, but he respected the fact that I wanted to wait. We are together even today =) Stop dating boys, and start dating men.

id say don't get too attatched to your b/f's too quickly if their like that. if they truely love u they will wait (keep in mind they may not wait forever) but a few days to a week isnt much time. Are you good looking? because if u r mayb they liked u for lust im not sure but you should be ready in a realtionship and not be forced.
sorry this isn't really answering your question that well about who you should be with but i thought i should just let you know. bit in my opinion id say 6 months would be maybe the time where you might consider taking that step with them if they ask but it's your choice and don't let anyone force u into it. hope this helps.

You are not being too slow, merely cautious which is a good thing. If a guy can't wait for you to be ready then he isn't worth your time and is only interested in sex. Stick to your guns.

Any man who who is so impatient, that they can not wait to feel the petals of your velvet flower, is not worth their weight in manure. Your affections should be a prize that should be sought after. And like any thing that is really worth having, there should be a price to pay to, in this case it is time.
If a man dumps your for this reason, then that is the only reason he was dating you in the first place.

All things come in time, that includes a bf who will respect you for who you are, not just service his perceived needs at the moment. Don't rush and if that is all they want, run do not walk away from them. You will know when the time is right for you.

Be careful. Don't rush it. Rushing it can be a disaster. Someone that love and respects you will come along (he's probably there looking at you but you don't see him in that way. Being patient will make everything worth the wait.

That doesn't sound slow to me at all. I've had relationships that have gone a couple months before we had sex, it helps you get to know the person better without throwing sex into the mix and messing everything up.

I don't think you were going to slow... But if you DO go to slow which is like 5 weeks without it, they will defenitely dump you.
