The Essenes considered themselves to be a separate people--not because of external signs like skin color, hair color, etc., but because of the illumination of their inner life and their knowledge of the hidden mysteries of nature unknown to other men.

Indeed, almost all of the principal founders of what would later be called Christianity were Essenes--St. Ann, Joseph and Mary, John the Baptist, Jesus, John the Evangelist, etc.

They possessed their advanced knowledge and worked assiduously in secret for the triumph of the light over the darkness of the human mind.

They were not limited to a single religion, but studied all of them in order to extract the great scientific principles. They considered each religion to be a different stage of a single revelation. They accorded great importance to the teachings of the ancient Chaldeans, of Zoroaster, of Hermes Trismegiste, to the secret instructions of Moses and of one of the founding Masters of their order who had transmitted techniques similar to those of Buddhism, as well as to the revelation of Enoch.

Most of the biographers of Lord Jesus Christ don't give any account the details how he spent his years in India. But, Aquarian Gospel says something that Lord Jesus Christ was residing in the temple of Lord Jagannatha in Puri, Orissa, India.

Because ancient Palestine was sort of a crossroad in the ancient known world it is not unreasonable to expect that Jesus, his disciples and the first century church came into contact with the religions and systems of thought throughout the region. It must be remembered, however, that Christianity is solely based upon the person and work of Jesus Christ. There are similarities between Christianity and other religions, but Christianity is unique in that it has a definite plan of salvation based upon recorded procedures and fact that are contained in the Bible. No other religion can claim this, including Islam and Judaism.

The assertion that Jesus or any of His followers were members of the Essene cult just may be the most ludicrous thing I have ever read on this board...and that covers a lot of hogwash and balderdash, that's for certain.

Just as crazy as John the Baptist being a "principle founder" of what would be later called "Christianity". Tough to do when you're a headless dead guy.

Well since it is highly likely that there were Buddhists in the area around the time that Jesus was growing up, due to the fact that trade routes ran through India into the Middle East and Northern Africa, we can say that Jesus probably ran into a few Buddhists.

No this might in no way be carried out, for we are able to continuously learn greater. this might help in this: basically God can exhibit the which ability of his notice, the bible. So if we'd go with to correctly known the certainty we'd desire to ask God to coach us meanings and supply us information or we purely wager. in the previous we initiate analyzing the bible ask God for awareness and information, then we are able to understand and comprehend it as God provides it to us. If i needed to correctly known something written is Martian, i might bypass to somebody that speaks Martian and ask them what it ability so as that i ought to appreciate what it says. Or i ought to look at it, no longer information, then say it ability this or that: no longer understanding Martian, i ought to purpose to make it mean despite i needed, nevertheless this does not be the wonderful interpretation. Many try this with the bible, it truly is God's notice and basically God can let us know the which ability of issues and supply us information too. Or we purely wager or make something up. So bypass to God and ask him immediately for the certainty of his notice. And God can try this by any bible, no longer basically some yet all. wish this facilitates and take care.
