I was excercising on the eliptical machine and my feet now feels spranged. I tried the treadmill and it gives me the same effect. Any suggestions. I don't want to give up my cardio if that's the problem.

Check your shoes. The eliptical machine is designed to be low-impact - meaning it should be relatively easy on your joints. Hips, knees, ankles, etc. should not feel strained or stressed when you are exercising.
Your shoes may be either too old or you might be wearing the wrong type of shoes. Buy a cross-trainer that can go basically anywhere as you work out.

Your feet have muscles just like the rest of your body, only we never use them because the support and cushoning so thoughtfully placed in our shoes cause them to become weak and dependant. Studies have shown that training without shoes is benificial on many levels. 2 major shoe makers that I know of are making shoes now to simulate being barefoot. Take off your shoes and work out barefoot. Be advised that without shoes you'll be working out muscles that are a little weaker and you'll experience a bit of soreness untill they get conditioned. Start out slow and in a couple weeks your feet and legs will feel healthier than they've ever been. Good luck.
