I have not noticed a difference in the scale. But I have walked for over a month, every other day a mile or so.

Sunday I walked/jogged a mile and it seemes as if my belly was a lot smaller.
WHY?
Is jogging a faster way to lose weight than walking?

When you run you are accelerating not only your breathing but your heart rate as well. When your heart is beating fast you are burning more energy/calories/fat than when it is at rest. If you are able to run for durations of over 30 minutes you will find the fat and extra weight just melting away.
Walking is very good exercise but it does not get your heart all accelerated, running does.

Definitely. You burn up about 5 times more calories jogging than when you are walking.

yes, when you jog, you cover a longer distance in the same amount of time as walking, so you burn more calories.

One day for a mile wouldnt have much of an impact. Keep it up.
