Ahh, good question, but the fact is he has not stopped.
The bible it self is the writings of many people.
But we still have books produced in our time.
The bible is the word of God, but still we have books outside the bible with further insight
God inspires to this day.

In Revelation it says that there was a long silence in heaven for about half an hour. Then - there is supposed to be an angel with a little book or scroll. This is supposed to be a completely different angel, from all the male angels, and is equated with God. Yes, it will probably shed some light on the entire Bible.

He may still be inspiring holy texts, but we choose to read those closest to the time of Jesus because there was less time for heresy and blasphemy to the story. If the Bible was never written then, but was written now based on events that happened 2,000 years ago, it would be very different and about 95% false.

If you are referring to the fact that mainstream Christianity has the Bible closed with no more to be added (because some "cults" claim to have holy text that is very recent), it is due to the coming of Christ. In Hebrews 1:1-2 it says that "in these last days he has spoken to us by his son" there is no more to be said.
We already have everything we need to know. If God is truly all-powerful he does not need to inspire any more text. Those whom he wills to understand what is said will understand it. (See Luke 8:10: “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’)

convinced, "comprehend God" is the content fabric, message that the bible attempt to placed across, because the catholic and the protestant perception are diverse, they gained't use their counterpart's Bible and make that declare. And the declare has no longer some thing to do with the wording too, there are distinctive bible in diverse languages and interpretations like NIV, KJV etc. notwithstanding the message is an same. besides the Bible isn't a e book of dogma, it inviting investigations, learn from persons, so the content fabric and the using of it really is the authentic deal. Ethnic(Jews) rituals or community(center east) comprehend-how courting decrease back to early ad ought to influence the validity of the teachings telling. If someone upload/burn some web page or the full bible inclusive of his loose will, it makes no huge difference the e book burnt is genuinely the Bible that maximum Christians preserving pricey or "Javascript Bible", a reference for website developer. The comprehend God is the message believers can get from the Bible, no longer equals the Bible in its actual style.

There is only "ONE" correct interpretation of scripture. Most people try to make it mean something entirely different from what it actually means. No wonder we have hundreds of Christian denominations, everyone tries to make the Bible support their preconceived ideas instead of the other way around. It means what it says-nothing else.

Because the phrophecies in the Old Testament were fulfilled in the New Testament by Jesus Christ. We have Revelation which tells us about the end times, so we are not in need of any additional inspired text.
