I beg to differ with you but prayer has worked in my life!

Actually, that is not true. Prayers have been proven to have little effect on people who are sick that are being prayed for without their knowledge. This was tested a couple of years ago by some university or another. On the other hand, prayers HAVE actually been proven to help people praying for themselves, much like meditation or positive thinking does. Anecdotal evidence that this is true is enormous in scope and quantity. You can make an argument that it is not really a religious entity causing the positive reactions, but not that prayers don't work. Whether or not a religious entity exists or not is a matter of faith, and it is not relevant to the success rate of prayers. The fact is that they would not make any difference if people did not believe they would. If it is only psychological, the so be it. You're still wrong.

Ultimately, though, a religious leader would simply argue that you didn't follow through on your prayer with proper spiritual enrichment and practice if you tried to sue them. In other words: you didn't do it right.

They have been proven not to work? I wasn't aware of that. How many times have your prayers not been answered? Mine have been answered so many times, I can't count them. Monday night, I was depressed and couldn't sleep. Having moved to a new state and not having friends made me so sad. I told God that I needed a friend. Tuesday morning, I went to church and a lady stopped me after the meeting and started a conversation with me. It felt so good. I know God made this happen, because He saw my pain. Some prayers have not been answered, but God hears them all and He replies to all. In His time, not ours. He also replies and we don't like it or don't see the answer because it's not what we wanted. That's often why people say prayers aren't answered. God will do what seems best for us, not what we think is best for us. In the end, He is always right.

Yes, They can be sued for that, e.g. a man of God used flog church members who comes late to church, both young and adult, he even went to set some church members ablaze, so he was given death sentence. So advert when properly looked into are false, so they need to be sued

In some country, they don't show miracle on TV, because there are many false miracles so we don't know the good from the bad. But at the same time one miracle can make those who do not believe in God to convert

Why prayer seems not to work is because we ask amiss, also if you are asking God for something, he will not give you that thing since he knew you are not in need of it at that particular time. Is not everything our children ask you we always give them

I would not like to be a taxpayer who is responsible for paying the bills for such an
action ..... have a little pity for the taxpayers: we have enough to pay for as it is, without adding more legislation that requires more court action which costs taxpayers money since courts are a shared responsibilty ...

You cannot legislate everything!!!!! Just the basics are covered ... and sometimes people do not like paying for even those basics......

How on earth can they prove that prayers do not work? A person could have been praying for one thing on one level, and on another level for another thing .... how are you to sort that one out? And then press charges?

Have a HAPPY day .... do not WORRY about such things!!!!! Everything straightens itself out eventually!!

Peace & Love

who has proven prayers dont work?......only those who dont believe....Jesus told Jairus when he received the news of his daughters death..." do not be afraid. only believe".....and he did and Jesus brought her back to life. the problem with prayer is people want an answer immediately....like a drive thru value meal....the truth is that Gods ways are not like ours...He knows best...when we get all bummed caused God didnt answer on our terms...it totally hinders the truth of God....people want God to be there when they need Him...but refuse to be there with God when they dont.....its human nature...and this is so much the reason to be born again and live by the spirit...not the flesh....it is indeed work...but it is also indeed truth and freedom and joy.....†

God never promised to answer all prayers. Especially not the way they are asked for. Do you have children? If you do, do you give them everything they ask for?

if you've ever told a woman that you could satisfy her, you would be sued for false advertisement as well.

I've seen too many miracles to possibly agree with that statement. And "miraculous" is the only word that can be used to describe them!
