know how the thing works. I already have all the ingredients to make bread. Can somebody tell me the basic steps on how to make this thing work?

You can often get owner's manual online. I've looked up one for Breadman, and I'll post the link below. I hope it works for you.

I have a breadman, and I still have the manual. Email me if you need instructions on a certain bread. I use mine mostly for French bread dough.
