If you tip like a drunk, does that make it ok?

When the bar is all packed, is the seat too valuable for a non-drinker to be sitting in?

I'd love to hear from some bartenders/bar owners on this.

Have a friend who works in a bar. If the non-drinker is the designated driver and with a group of drinking friends, the bar has no problem with it whatsoever. My friend's bar even gives free soda pops to designated drivers.

If you're alone, now don't think I'm trying to suggest anything, but most bar folks will think you are a stalker trying to pick up on a drunk girl. Sorry to be so frank.

Neither my sister nor I drink but we love going out and playing pool. Since there are no pool halls where we live we have to go to a bar. We order sodas and let the bar staff know that we are not designated drivers so that they are not giving away free inventory. We also tip. We have never been asked to leave or been treated badly by the staff. And we always have a great time.

in the starting up you ought to appreciate how extremely confusing it really is for me to respond to the question, being a fat man or woman and all. yet heavily, all issues aside, i have self assurance in a nil tolerance coverage at the same time as it includes dishonest. and the reason being human nature. if issues are perfect, no lady will cheat - please have self assurance me on that one. no count the quantity of alcohol, if issues are perfect a lady gained't position herself able the position dishonest ought to grow to be an difficulty. so as that should be your answer proper there. i'm certain it should be difficult as hell to be on your footwear and that i'm sorry for what you're dealing with, yet what i imagine is that you ought to both end it or have a intense communicate about the failings that make her satisfied and unhappy on your courting, and then end it having some kind of closure - because you comprehend besides as i try this it is going to take position back if issues between you 2 stay a similar. and also you comprehend they both will stay a similar or you'll finally end up resenting her and making her depressing in a pair and also you may both spiral down. regrettably with such issues as this, once the wear is done, it may't extremely be undone.

I don't drink and have never even gotten a dirty look. I'm with a group so I take up no more space than they do. And I tip as if I was ordering alcohol.
Unless the bar is very crowded and drinks are very expensive, it shouldn't make a difference.

They don't care for them. Most bars won't show you the door unless they think you're costing them money, such as the place being packed and you take up room for one more paying customer, as you said.

Of course, money solves everythign in these situations. Give enough people enough money and you can bring a sleeping bag.

I would think out of good PR, non-drinkers would be welcome. The non-drinker can be the designated driver. Surely bars don't want to get a reputation for their patrons driving drunk to go home.
